Lexi's P.O.V.

Another two weeks had gone by, Dad told me not to come into the office until the media died down; which it hasn't. It's crazy how this whole thing has blown up, and why people even cared who I dated or not, boggled my mind. So I've been working at Lucas's house from my laptop. I was actually fine with that decision, I didn't want to see my father anyways and I definitely didn't want to see Peter.

I've talked with my mom a lot. She's trying to stay partial but when it comes down to it, she's siding with my dad because of the way it looks to our family, being what Lucas is.

Now, my girls on the other hand, they were more than excited to find out my guy was the one and only Lucas Costello. They were the only ones not judging me, they were the only ones that talked to me and the only ones that listened to why I loved this man so much. I was very grateful I had such amazing friends.

I've been cooped up the last few weeks, so Lucas wanted to take me out for a nice dinner and some alone time. I wasn't sure this was a good idea though. I didn't care who knew I was with him, but what I was worried about was this guy who was threatening Lucas's life because of his relationship with me.

We had a group of guys following us tonight, and Kevin was a part of that. Lucas wanted to make sure that with the threats, we had backup in case something were to happen.

Walking into the living room, Lucas and I locked eyes and smiled at one another.

"You are the most handsome man I have ever laid eyes on."

He was walking up to me, "That's funny because I was thinking the same thing about you, except my words would have been; gorgeous, remarkable, breathtaking and absolutely beautiful."

"You're making me blush, Mr. Costello."

He started laughing, leaning in to give me a kiss. "Are you ready for an unforgettable night?" Lucas asked.

I nodded my head and we headed out the door.

Pulling up to the restaurant, I noticed a few paparazzi sitting outside. Lucas put his arm protectively around my body as we were walking into the restaurant. A few of them took our picture and asked us questions but we ignored them as we walked in.

"Reservation for Costello." Lucas told the guy behind the counter.

"Yes, Sir. Right this way."

The waiter took us to our table, a few people staring as we walked by, confirming the New York gossip all over the news.

Dinner was amazing, and I was so glad to  get some alone time with him.

"I have another surprise for you after this. Are you ready to go?" He asked, paying the waiter.

"Yes, I need to use the ladies room real quick, I'll be right back." I stood up, kissing Lucas before heading to the bathrooms.

Walking towards the bathroom, I noticed no one was following me which I thought was weird since I can't do anything without someone being right by my side.

I went in and was getting ready to wash my hands when I thought I heard a noise. This damn stalker has made me so damn paranoid. I hurried up and washed my hands, fixed my hair and walked out.

I stopped dead in my tracks. On the opposite wall, there was a note taped to the wall that said….

'I'm coming for you!'

Kevin grabbed my arm, leading me away from the bathrooms. I met Lucas at our table, he could tell something happened when Kevin was there with me.

Lucas stood up, wrapping a protective arm around me as we walked out. We got into the SUV, "What happened?" Lucas asked me.
