The Night before Storm

This is not 'the Last night'

Abir POV

I was stunned and equally overwhelmed hearing all these things from My wife. Because I know how difficult it was for her to pouring her heart out as from the last 3 months she was going through trauma, her own fears, her inside demons but today finally she opened with me and I couldn't tell what I was feeling I just want to take her in my arms and take her away from this cruel world who just want to hurt my angry chorni. The only words came from my mouth was "I love you Mishti more than anything else in this world" and held her tightly in my arms.
It took me a little longer to gather all my strength but I know what I've to do. I took her with me, made her sit on couch, give her a glass of a water told her to relax , knelt in front of her and make her look into my eyes.
"You're right Mishti, we don't know what tomorrow brings, we don't know whether our plan works or not, we don't know anything but there's one thing I know Angry Chorni I love you and I won't leave you alone no matter what. Whatever this is happening it's not your fault it's mine. Because I left you alone Mishti. She tried to interrupt but I kept my finger on her mouth and she got my signal that I'm not done yet. But she was looking down and I can't bear that so I continued "I want you to look into my eyes when i'm saying this to you ,'Whenever we got separated something bad happens and I'm telling you this whether you like it or not but we are in this together no matter what happens tomorrow I'm not going to leave you, I'll protect you at any cost and this is definitely not our last night, We will make through this together, I'll make your wishes true Mishti we will go on honeymoon in the same way you wanted, will spend many moments together, will go on long cycle Race where I make you loose even without cheating and we will also  make beautiful babies" she blushed at that I love making her blush as she looks so cute when she go all red but till now tears were running down on both of our cheeks she put her arms around my neck and make our foreheads touched my voice started to crack but I continued " I'll teach you how to cook because you really need cooking lessons, she gave a watery laugh nd hit me on my shoulder, I held her hand and asked "Do you trust me Mishti?"

Mishti POV

I don't know how my man does that but he knows exactly how to make my nerves calm down. After hearing what he said to me looking into his eyes, the depth, the honesty, the unconditional love he has for me I can see in his eyes so how could I not trust him. Without wasting any minute I said "Yes Abir, ofcourse I trust you more than anyone else" He said "Then promise me no matter how hard it is but we won't give up on us and you'll not do anything stupid." He was looking with fear and desperation in his eyes and looking him like this how could I say no to him. So I tightly held his hand and said "I promise Abir whatever the situation may come we won't give up. We will fight together and make through this." He has that proud look on his face for me and I make another promise to myself that no matter how hard I've to fight but I won't let him down and it's really enough now enough of living in fear because we haven't done anything wrong. And tomorrow everything's going to change. With that I was feeling tired and exhausted  because of such heavy emotional talk.
And as usual My Ajeeb Rajvansh knows before me how I'm feeling as he suddenly said "ComeOn Mishti we've a long day tomorrow and after having such heavy conversation you must be exhausted" He was so right my eyelids felt so heavy so he carried me in his arms and securely placed me under blanket and kissed me on forehead and says "Relax, sleep well wifey and yes it's definitely the last night last night we are in such mess from tomorrow a new day and a new hope is waiting for us. Everything will be okay". Abir has that quality no matter how practical I was think at last he make me believe on his words. With that he was leaving as it's the daily routine from last 3 months after making me lay down comfortably he place himself beside me but at a respectful distance as I don't get scared in the middle of night because of any touch. But today I don't want that he would sleep far from me, I want to sleep in his arms in my safe heaven. So I held his hand and with heavy eyes just said 'please... stay.' He was unsure at first but I didn't leave his hand he still asked "Mishti Are you sure?" I just nodded as it was difficult for me to say because of all the exhaustion. He settled himself beside me and I knew he was still little afraid so I hold him from his waist nd put my head on his chest, he secured my in his arms. I was drifting to sleep when I heard him say "Good night Wifey, I love you" nd kissed me on the top of my head. In response I just smiled, kissed on his chest. I know he got my response and he must  having that charming smile on his lips.
