Tabitha's P.O.V.
Right by our feet was a huge grizzly bear. We both laid very still. Grizzly bears will only attack when provoked. I looked over at Anna, she had her face burried in her hands. I couldn't talk to her to comfort her.
We were either going to get mauled to death, or have a lethal injection eventually. I felt it's heavy paw push down on my leg, sniffing. That was when I realized that I hadn't covered my bleeding leg. It started to claw at it, not hard, but it's paw weighed alot. My leg felt as if my bone was going to snap. I began to pray.Amazingly, It became uninterested in me when it spotted the lady walking around above us, and it began to run towards her. We heard her screaming but we both got up, running as fast as we could away. In the distance we heard a gunshot. I began to cry for the poor bear that saved our lives.
I heard four, then five more gunshots, and everything got silent. We kept running until we got to an opening, with a lot of rocks. The stream continued through it. My leg hurt so bad, and I stopped.
"No." She said. "We have to keep moving." I grabbed her hand and we began to run again.
When we got into the trees I told her I had to stop. I sat down, to look at the glass. It was actually about 4 inches long, 2 or so inches were inside of my leg.
I was frightened, but I asked her to pull it out, and I closed my eyes. She pulled it out as slow as possible. It was agonizing. I felt my blood pour out around it. She told me to give her my shoe, and I did. She took out my shoe lace, and pulled a pocket knife from her pocket, but it was small. She sliced my shoe lace in half, enough to still tie my shoe, and re-laced it. She then took her socks off, and sliced the bottom off of them and slid them onto my leg, tying the shoelace around it for support. I tried to stand, but I couldn't. Every time I put pressure on my leg it hurt even more. We both turned around when we heard a rustling of water. The woman was running our way, with a handgun.
Heidi's P.O.V.
All of me began to hurt. I couldn't pinpoint the exact spot where my pain was. Then, all of the sudden I was blinded. I looked up, and Alexander was standing over me. He looked devastated. I watched him carefully, seeing that he was healing me. A bright pink light was over my chest, and I was lying on a table. The pain subsided, and eventually stopped. He began to smile when he looked over at me, as if he was happy I was alive.
"Alexander?" I said, hoping I wasn't dreaming.
"Heidi!" He said in excitement and relief washing through his voice. I took a deep breath, so happy to feel again. I went to take another, and I got light headed and fell backwards.
"What's wrong?" He said, sounding worried.
"I don't feel too good." I said, trying to make my voice echo louder.
"Oh no, please no." He ranted.
"What?" I gulped.
"Something had to have went wrong. You're supposed to be fine, I healed you."
"I'm fine I just need sleep."
"Sleep? You shouldn't want sleep. YOU SHOULD BE HEALED!" He started screaming. I tasted something in my mouth, and I spit it out.
Blood landed on Alexander’s chest. He looked down at me, and I looked up at him.
Something was definitely wrong. Something was very wrong.
