Heidi's P.O.V.

My brain felt like a over-used pillow. I felt as if I was floating in space.. as if my time was of the essence. I felt like I had a brain freeze. It wasn't icy frozen though, it was frozen like when someone screams "FREEZE!" in freeze-tag, and you stand completely still. I couldn't think, not one single thought crossed my mind. I wasn't dreaming, because I could still hear Alexander’s words lingering in my mind.

"Stay with me, stay with me Heidi!" I could sense the tension in his voice. I couldn't lead myself back into consciousness. I tried following his voice, but my brain was so cloudy and hazy I couldn't reach the checkpoint. I felt his hand touch mine and I reached for it, but there was nothing there. Was I imagining things now?

My hands were tingling, and I could feel them again. My mind began to sprint through the haze and my eyes flew open. I jolted up, and Alexander was staring at me. I looked at my skin, and there was no more swelling, and I felt much, much better.

"Thank you so much Alex-." But I got interuptedd when I heard the low growl come out of Tod's throat, confused I looked over for him and he wasn't there.

"Where's Tod?" I asked. He didn't answer me, but continued to stare. I looked around and found Tod in a chair looking straight at me as well, with no expressional puppy-looking face on him. He had a serious, almost scary look on his face.

"Tod?" I mumbled, trying to determine what was wrong. I heard the low throaty growl again.

"Ale-Alexander? What's wrong with him?" When I looked at him, he was staring at me in the same way Tod was. I began to honestly get frightened, and I scooted away.

"Wh-wh-what's wrong with you?" I shook with anxiety. He didn't speak a single word, but he got up and walked away. I watched him walk through a swinging door that lead to what I assumed looked like a kitchen. I heard rattling like silverwear, and my stomach growled.

"Maybe he's getting me food?" I thought in my head. But I was wrong. I heard the door swing open and I watched as Alexander approached me with a huge butcher knife.

"Wh-wh-what are you-." I didn't have time to ask him before Tod lunged off the chair, towards Alexander. Or atleast I thought. Sadly, he ended up on me, making that low throaty growl again. I began to twist and turn, trying to push him off of me. I was un-successful. I threw myself back onto the pillow and looked left and right for Alexander but he was no where to be found and I closed my eyes. Looking up I screamed, screeching like a bird, literally. Over me he stood, his different ora was flowing off of him. His eyes were pitch back, a hint of red shining through. I shrunk even more into the pillow. He stared at me for a minute, and I seen his hand raise, the blade reflecting off of the light. I watched as he plunged the knife forward, where it would soon collide with my collarbone.
