When Kkami ignores him but not you - Hyunjin

"Y/n! Kkami's acting weird!" Hyunjin yells, even though he wasn't standing that far away from you.

You put down the remote you were holding for the tv and look at him, shifting your body on the couch.

"What do mean Kkami's acting weird? He seems fine to me," you say, changing your attention to the little dog laying on the carpet.

"He's acting weird! He won't pay any attention to me! I've even tried giving him his favourite treats but he won't eat them!" He pouts and points at Kkami, who was busy rolling around. "Did you buy the wrong treats?"

"I don't think I did," you get up and grab the bag of treats out of Hyunjin's hands.

You scan over the details, making sure that the brand, flavour, and ingredients were all the same as before.

"There's nothing wrong, these are his favourites as always," you place the bag on the table after taking a small amount of it in your hands.

"Then why won't he eat them!" He whines, stomping his feet.

Ignoring the tantrum Hyunjin was throwing, you kneel down and hold your hand filled with the treats towards Kkami.

"Kkami~ Do you want some treats?" You gently call him.

He stops rolling on the floor and lifts his head up to see you smiling at him. Immediately getting up from his position, he runs to you and sniffs your hand, eating it all with ease.

Hyunjin stares at you with his mouth hanging wide open. "Kkami! Why didn't you eat it when I tried to give it to you!"

The dog only spares him a glance, before scratching the back of his ear with his foot.

You laugh at Kkami's behaviour and Hyunjin creases his eyebrows, clearly confused.

"Y/n! Kkami's a meanie!" He clings to you and sticks his tongue out at him.

Rolling your eyes, you pick up the adorable fluffy angel, and take a seat on the couch once again, placing him into your lap.

Kkami tries to get comfy which only takes him a couple seconds, but gets pulled by Hyunjin into his own lap.

"Kkamiii, I'm sorry for whatever I did wrongg. Please forgive meee~" he snuggles his face into his fur, instantly regretting it as Kkami barks and kicks his face with his leg.

Hyunjin let's go and holds his cheek where Kkami kicked, pouting once again.

You giggle at how Kkami jumps back into your lap and rubs himself against the fabric of your hoodie.

"I wonder why Kkami's ignoring you." You pet his fur and notice how he had been staring at your hair band for a while now.

Staring into his eyes while thinking, you test something. You take off your hair band and hold it above Kkami's head.

You watch as he reaches his tiny paws out to grab it, occasionally trying to bite it.

"Ohh, so that's what you want." You say, realizing.

"What?" Hyunjin eyes the dog, still upset over the cold shoulder he was giving him.

You gently place the hair band around Kkami's head, making sure that it's not too tight or too loose. When you're done, he jumps happily and licks your face.

"Ah! Kkami! Stop it~" you say between laughs as it tickled your skin.

He calms down and decides to take a nap, snuggled up against your chest.

"Hyunjin-ah?" You look at him. "Did you ever share your hair bands with Kkami?"

"What?! Why would I share my precious hair bands with him?!" He creases his eyebrows and places his hand on his chest dramatically.

You sigh and flick his forehead at his obliviousness. "Because Kkami likes to wear hair bands. He's grown to be like you, I see. And since you never shared them with him, he got annoyed. Which is why he ignored you, you got it?"

Hyunjin looks at the sleeping dog and understands, slightly. "Okay, I got it. I'll share them with him."

"Good. Kkami has things he wants too you know." You smile and ruffle his hair, which would usually make him frustrated, but he let's you this time.

Hyunjin slowly leans down and places a kiss on Kkami's head, smiling cutely.
