Seo Changbin. That name belonged to your one and only crush. Maybe crush wasn't even the right word for him, it was more than just that. You loved him.

You loved how he appeared cold and intimidating when on the inside, you knew he was really caring. He might've been the softest boy out there sometimes. His smile was so pure and adorable like a colorful rainbow. And you couldn't explain that urge you got to hug him every time he laughed and showed his little dimples.

He really was incomparable. That was why you loved him so much. Because no one could come close to bring you the same amount of happiness than him.

It wasn't only what he gave you, but what you wanted to give him. Your mind always wonders if he was doing well, if he already ate, and what you could do to make his day better.

In fact, your feelings for him weren't invisible. You expressed yourself and worried for him in the day, after all, he was what made you look forward to early school mornings.

Whenever you spotted him around the campus, you would confidently go up to him and talk. Did he know you liked him? Probably. You weren't that secretive with it. 'Cause why did you need to hide how you felt? Wouldn't life be more enjoyable if you just did the things you want? That's the way you saw things.

However, he wasn't always the nicest towards you, specifically. You couldn't tell if it was because he didn't want your attention and soft gestures, or because he didn't like you in general. Whatever the reason was, you weren't bothered too much since he was normally like that to everyone, so you kept your hopes high.

Living in this bright world was better than believing you had no chance. Might as well have it last and smile in the meantime to distract yourself. Even if it stung your heart to think about how he really viewed you.

After long months of connecting with him in one way or another, a night came where you decided to truly confess. Excitedly, you spent hours in your bedroom writing a letter that held such precious words you poured out.

The stars and the mooned outside your window that sparkled in the darkness gave you encouragement that this beautiful scene would help you with the events coming tomorrow. The cool air flowing in calmed your nerves and so you continued to convey every little emotion you felt whenever with, near, or simply seeing, the boy of your dreams.

Many times you rewrote sentences and even scrapped parchments of paper with full works just because it seemed like too little or too much. Expressing it all in boring paragraphs drowned out the main message of the short 'I love you' you wanted to say. But you continued, until eventually you reached a draft that hopefully would move the receiver while still not containing a mouth-full to read.

Gently, you sealed the letter into an envelope and clutched the meaningful possession close to your chest, not knowing what tragedies were going to strike the next day.

You couldn't wait as each class of yours passed by until finally, it was the end of your math class that you shared with Changbin. Most of the students had left the room including the teacher. Now was your chance to tell him.

You approached his desk where he was packing his bag and hid the letter behind your back, putting on smile to not scare him.

"Changbin?"

He turned his attention away from his belongings and looked up at you, an eased expression on his face.

"Yeah? What is it?"

You took a deep breath before revealing the envelope to him, his name written on the front with your best attempt at what was supposed to be cursive.
