A Family Once More

THIRTEEN ~ Order Meeting

"Listen up everyone. I have some important news about Voldemort about his plans and actions. Unfortunately, he has already carried them out." Dumbledore announced. 

The tension in the room was so strong, everyone waiting for Dumbledore to announce the bad news. 

"Harry Potter has been kidnapped." 

There were collective gasps all around the room. Chaos erupted. Everyone was shouting and screaming at each other. Worried and angry at how this could have occurred. 

"SCILENCE..." Dumbledore used his wand to amplify his voice so that he could be heard above all the screaming and shouting of the Order members. "No, I do not know the exact details of what happened, but Ron and Hermione do." 

Some order members who had not noticed the Harry's best friends earlier looked at them in surprise. 

"Ron, Hermione, what happened?" asked a pale and worried Sirius. "When was he kidnapped?" 

Ron and Hermione looked at each other, silently agreeing on who should speak first. 

"Well, the three of us had a slight argument the previous night," Ron had started explaining. Some of the order members looked surprised, the Golden Trio had argued? 

"Well yes, we can argue you know. We don't always get along." Hermione answered the silent question that half the room were wondering. 

"Anyways, the two of us headed back to the Gryffindor Tower to head off to bed since it was late. The next morning, we realised that Harry was no where to be seen. We knew he did not sneak off during the night as his invisibility cloak and the map were still in his trunk. So, we used the marauders map to look for him. We found him in the Astronomy Tower." Ron paused for a while, swallowing slowly, he felt as if he had difficulty saying the next series of events. 

He looked to Hermione for help, where she replied with a reassuring smile. Then, she took over the explaining. 

"However, he was not the only one there on the tower that morning..." she trailed off for a while, gathering strength to continue. 

"There were 3 death eaters. Lucius, Peter and Bellatrix." 

Gasps were heard from all around the room, panic seemed to be all around, causing a huge amount of tension in the room. 

Sirius and Remus shared worried looks and then glanced at James and Lily's general direction. Both of them hoped that James and Lily would not reveal themselves unintentionally with all the chaos going around. They also wondered how they were doing, just after coming back to life, they hear that their only son has been kidnapped by death eaters and is probably in the hands of Voldemort right now. 

"Well then, let's go!" Sirius stood up. 

"We can't just go rushing off Sirius." Remus countered. 

"My godson has been kidnapped, I'm not going to stay here while he's in trouble. 

"You are still a wanted criminal Sirius, besides, we don't know where he is." 

Sirius shrank back down into his chair, hating the fact that he can't go out anywhere. 

"Hermione, Ron, do you know where they took Harry?" Mcgonagall questioned. 

Hermione just looked down, staring at the floor, her eyes glistening with tears. Ron on the other hand looked straight at his professor and shook his head slowly, trying to stay strong for Hermione. He wrapped a comforting hand around her shoulders. 

"Well then, I do not feel that alerting the ministry of Harry's disappearance is necessary. Therefore, I trust the Order will be able to find him."
