A Family Once More

EIGHTEEN ~ Coma

_Third Person POV_ 

Without waiting for anyone, Lily started disguising herself. 

She had shoulder length brown hair and blue eyes, she also made herself slightly tan. 

After she was satisfied with her appearance, she moved on to change James's appearance. 

She disguised James's hazel eyes to grey and made his hair neater and slightly shorter. After that, she moved on to Sirius. 

Sirius now has brown eyes and brown hair, she also made his hair shorter and straighter. 

After all the disguising was complete, James grabbed Lily and Sirius by the arm and aparated off to the shrieking shack. The three of them made their way to Hogwarts through the womping willow. After Sirius tapped the knot of the tree, the three of them ran off into the castle. 

They continued running until they reached the Hospital Wing, none of them stopped even to think of taking a break. All of them wanted to see Harry as soon as possible. Luckily, they passed no students on their way there, so no questions had to be made or answered. 

Once they reached the hospital wing, the three of them pushed open the hospital doors with so much force that it could have broken. 

They hesitated for a second, trying to find the bed Harry was in. The moment they saw Remus, they charged over to him. Remus's back was facing the door of the hospital wing, body directed to Harry's limp and lifeless looking one. 

Once they caught sight of Harry, all of them slowed down slightly not knowing how to approach the bedside. 

Remus turned around upon hearing the groups's footsteps.

"Oh hi." Remus greeted, still looking slightly solemn.

"Hi Remus." Lily replied with a small smile while James and Sirius just looked at Moony and smiled tightly. Trying not to show their worry.

"How's Harry?" Lily asked.

"Well, as I said through the patronus, he's in a coma." Remus started. "Mdm Pomfret said that she can't wake him. He will have to wake himself up. However, she assumes that it will not be anytime soon as his body has gone through a lot these past two weeks. She can't give him any potions to heal him as well because he is in a coma, so his body will not react positively to the potions."

Lily, James and Sirius all looked worried and downcast at this news.

No one said anything as there was nothing to be said. All four of them just spent the next few hours looking sadly at Harry, with Lily and James holding each of his hands.

Dinner came and went, but none of them felt hungry.

At around 9pm, Dumbledore came in and told them that they should go back to Grimmuald Place to rest and that they can visit again tomorrow morning.

All of them were about to protest, not wanting to leave Harry alone. However, Dumbledore's usual twinkle in his eye was missing. It was replace by a stern look.

"You all need rest. Come back tomorrow when you have done so. And please do eat." With that, he left the hospital wing without another word.

All of them looked sadly and longingly at Harry before they left his side.

The four of them then proceeded to slowly walk out of the hospital wing, to the direction of the womping willow so that they could apparate back to Grimmuald Place.

None of them might get a good night's rest tonight.
