_Harry's POV_
I screamed.
I was positively sure that that is all I have been doing for the past two hours.
Voldemort has been continuously torturing me with his potions. I am bleeding in some places because some of the potions do that to me.
I was in so much pain I wondered how I was still conscious. Every time I wanted to drift off, I would remember Sirius and Remus, as well as Ron and Hermione. I stayed awake for them, hoping that they will come and rescue me soon.
"This one is the one I am most curious about Harry Potter." he dragged my name out. "Many of my followers have been poisoned from it as well as an additional side effect."
Bellatrix laughed loudly. Voldemort looked at her sharply, shutting her up.
"My apologies, My Lord."
"Now, let's see what Potter's side effect will be, shall we?"
All the death eaters, including Voldemort had hungry looks in their eyes.
I didn't want to admit it, but I was petrified.
What was he going to do to me?
Being too weak to protest the potion, Voldemort slipped it down my throat easily as he had done many times before.
As soon as I felt the potion's icy coldness slip down my throat, I could not help but loose consciousness.
_Sirius's POV_
Harry...
How could I fail him like that?
Letting him get kidnapped by death eaters...
And now he is facing the wrath of Voldemort himself?
What are the chances that he is still alive? I asked myself.
No.
Harry's strong. He will hold on.
But for how much longer?
No matter how much I tried convincing myself that Harry is doing as fine as he can be in his current situation, my mind constantly keeps wondering to reality.
Is Harry really fine though? Voldemort has wanted to kill him since he was born.
I'm sorry James and Lily...
I failed you... and Harry...
As godfather, I promised you that I would always watch out for him, make sure that he is always safe. I failed you...
I promised Harry that he would be safe and have a loving family...
I failed him too.
_Third Person POV_
The Order members quickly apparated to Malfoy Manor, where they started planning how to get Harry out.
Sirius and Remus have been tasked with getting Harry out of the dungeons and to bring him straight to the Hospital Wing at Hogwarts.
The rest of the Order are stationed at different areas of the Manor, creating a distraction by dulling the death eaters.
"I expect Voldemort will leave Harry once he hears all the commotion. Once I send you my patronus, you will know it is safe to enter to save Harry." Dumbledore informed Sirius and Remus.
Both of them nodded their heads, too worried for Harry's safety to say or think about anything else.
_Remus's POV_
I waited with Sirius behind some hedges, both of us anxiously waiting for Dumbledore to send us his patronus so that we could go save Harry.
I wondered what Voldemort must have done to him, as well as the other death eaters. Knowing what they are capable of, I wondered whether Harry was still alive. I hated to think of that possibility of him being dead, but I knew that that could very well be the truth.
"Remus, do you think he's... you know?" Sirius asked.
I wanted to say I wasn't sure, but then a thought struck my head.
"Voldemort has been wanting to kill him since he was born, I think that if he did manage to do so, he would alert the whole Wizarding World of his victory. So no, I don't think he's dead." I concluded.
I think Sirius realised I was right as he nodded his head in understanding.
"Thanks Remus, you always know what to say."
"What can I say, Marauders forever."
Sirius smiled in return. "And this time, all of us are reunited once more." (without Peter of course. But who cares about him!)
This time, it was my turn to give Sirius a smile.
Just as I was about to say something else, Dumbledore's phoenix patrons patronous gently flew towards us, nodding it's head slightly.
I looked at Sirius. "It's time." I said, determined to save Harry.
Sirius looked at me with such determination as well as he nodded. "Time to save my pup."
"For James and Lily."
"For James and Lily." Sirius repeated after me.
With that, the two of us, under the disillusion charm ran towards the dungeon in Malfoy Manor.
Once we arrived, I took the charm off us.
I saw Sirius starting to look around the dungeon. It was huge.
There were many prisons all around the room, barley any light was cast through the tiny windows.
"Lumos." I muttered. Sirius followed suit.
"Where is he?" I asked him.
"No idea. You take the right and I'll take the lef-"
I gasped.
Right in the middle of the dungeon lay a small teenage boy curled up into a ball.
The boy looked horrible. His hair had turned pearl white. There was blood leaking from some parts of his torn and tattered small and frail body.
Though the worse, was that the boy looked dead.
Harry...
A/N
Is Harry dead? Was that the potion's side effect?
Hello everyone! I have to apologise for this short chapter. But as I have mentioned in my announcements on my profile, school has started for me so my updates will either be short, or I may not update for a while. But I will definitely not be stopping this book completely. I love writing so I will most definitely not stop :) I hope all of you can understand why my updates will be slower and shorter.
Thank you all for your continuous support!!
