A Family Once More

NINETEEN ~ Guest Room

For the next few weeks, Lily, James, Sirius and Remus were constantly visiting Harry. From the early hours of the day till the late hours in the night. 

After three days of the marauders (Lily is one now too :D Lets just say she has a cheeky streak, that will come in later in the book) staying in the Hospital Wing till ten, and arriving as early as seven, Dumbledore allowed them to stay in Hogwarts. The four of them stayed in a guest room near the Great Hall. 

The guest room was hidden behind a wall, which was a gateway, just like Platform 9 and 3/4. James, Sirius and Remus showed signs of surprise when Dumbledore showed them where they would be staying. 

"A guest room?" James questioned. 

"A room we didn't know about?" Sirius asked. 

Remus just looked surprise but smirked slightly. They could add it to the Marauders Map! 

"Hogwarts has many secrets." was Dumbledore's only reply. 

"Won't people find us if we are just hidden behind a wall?" Remus asked. 

"It works just like the barrier at the platform, you have to lift It magically to enter and exit. I expect you would know how to do so after your prank where you blocked the barrier and the only people arriving into the school were you, James, Sirius and Peter." 

All four of them looked slightly angered after hearing the rat's name, but they tried to hide it from Dumbledore. However, he saw right through it. 

"My apologies." Dumbledore apologised. "Now, shall we enter?" 

Sirius made an odd excited noise before vigorously nodding his head in a dog-like manner. 

"Really Sirius?" Lily asked, exasperated. 

James just nodded his head eagerly, being slightly more mature than Sirius.  

"Yes please." Remus said politely. Obviously the most mature out of the original marauders. 

Dumbledore chuckled slightly. "Shall we?" he asked as he walked straight into the wall. 

The four marauder then followed, with Sirius jumping like a dog. 

James sighed. "You might as well transform, Sirius." 

Remus and Lily started laughing, like a normal human mind you. Sirius however, let out a bark like laugh. 

After hearing that sound, James started laughing as well. 

After a few seconds of laughing, Dumbledore decided to leave. 

"Have fun." Dumbledore quietly left the room, leaving the marauders alone for the night. 

"Come on! Let's explore!" Sirius exclaimed and started roaming around. 

The room was decorated in red and gold, with cushion chairs and a fire place. There were three more doors that were closed, and of course, Sirius and James being themselves, opened them straight away. 

"There are bedrooms here too!" James shouted happily. 

"Well obviously, Dumbledore would not let us sleep all together in one room, would he?" Remus snorted. 

"But you and Tiger Lily are." Sirius said to James while wiggling his eyebrows suggestively. 

James blushed deep crimson, a deeper shade than Lily's hair, so that's saying something. 

There was an awkward silence for a while before Remus casually walked into one of the rooms without a word. The rest of them followed along after him. James and Lily were especially happy to be out of that embarrassing moment.
