A/N Hello fellow readers! Thank you so much for the 72 reads. When I started this book I did not expect so many reads at all. I know the number is in fact very little but this is my first fan fiction so I hope I am doing alright. It would be great if some of you could please comment how you think I'm doing and how I can improve. Thank you so much for all the support and encouragement from some of you!!

For those who took the time to read this, thank you!! I won't keep you waiting now, time for the story :)

_Third Person POV_

After knowing that there would be no deaths at Grimmuald Place and that Sirius would not be sent to Azkaban guilty this time, Dumbledore left and went back to Hogwarts for the Halloween feast.

"I need to head off now Hogwarts is having their Halloween feast and I am looking forward to some lemon drops." he announced with a familiar twinkle in his eyes. "James, Lily, the two of you may stay here in Grimmauld Place for the time being before we announce your return to the ministry. I will bring Harry over in the evening before dinner tomorrow so he can meet you two."

James and Lily smiled at the thought of meeting their son once again, "Thank you Dumbledore."

Dumbledore just smiled in return and apparated on the spot, back to Hogwarts.

_Harry's POV_

When Mcgonagall smiled at me with one of rare smiles, I was shocked to say the least.

'Why would she randomly just smile at me?' I wondered.

I just kindly smiled back at her, not wanting to look too surprised as well as rude.

Her eyes seemed to be twinkling with excitement with a knowing look. I wonder what she knows.

'Is something happening at Hogwarts tonight?'

'What if it is something like the Tri Wizards's Tournament? That happened last year today.'

'No. If it was something as disastrous as that event, she would not have smiled at me."

"Harry? You alright? You seem to be drifting." Hermione said as she waved her hand in front of my face.

I must have spaced out because in front of me was Hogwarts's delicious Halloween feast.

"Oh, I'm fine Hermione. I was just thinking." I smiled at her, trying to be reassuring.

"Alright..." she replied, uncertain. "If you need to talk we are here for you, right Ron?"

"Oh what, um yeah sure." Ron replied, not knowing what he had agreed to as he had been busy stuffing his face with food just seconds ago, oblivious to the conversation.

Hermione just rolled her eyes at him. "Well I'm here if you need to talk." she smiled.

"Thanks Hermione."

I knew why she was so worried about me. I never really enjoyed Halloween.

It was the day my parents were murdered.

The day I was an orphan.

The day I was sent to the Dursley's.

I missed my parents so much. I want to feel a mother's love, my father's encouragement and support.

I long to create memories with them, joyful ones.

The only memory I have of my parents is when they were killed.
