Chapter 1 - Rachel is in trouble

Author's note;
I need to specify again, that my fanfic continues on from season 1, where Rachel was in the water, and a shark was coming towards her. My fanfic IS NOT a real representation of what would happen in season 2.

The skilled survivors looked out towards the ocean. Nora had jumped in, to protect Rachel from getting eaten by a shark. The rest of the girls didn't know the condition of Nora or Rachel, making them even more terrified.

"Shouldn't someone go into the water, to see if they're okay?" Leah expressed. Leah was suspicious of Nora, but she didn't want her to die.

"It's not shark week for me, so no thanks." Fatin replies, causing everyone to look at her. Fatin just shrugs in response.

"Someone has to save them. They're in danger!" Martha exclaimed, resulting in the girls, trying to figure out a course of action.

"I am going." Toni stated, resulting in everyone's attention on hers.

"If you going, then I'm going." Shelby argued, staring directly into Toni's eyes.

"You could get hurt." Toni pointed out, not enjoying the idea of Shelby being in danger.

"So could you." Shelby stood her ground, until Toni allowed her to go with her.

"Be careful guys. You got this." Dot encouraged, making the rest of the girls nod in response.

Shelby and Toni made their way to the ocean. Shelby sighs nervously, causing Toni to grab her hand, and interlock their fingers. Shelby smiles at Toni's gesture, and moves her head away from Toni, making sure Toni doesn't see her blushing. Toni uses her free hand, to gently pull Shelby's chin towards her. They both get lost in each other's eyes for a few minutes.

"Don't let go off my hand." Toni softly lets out, making Shelby's heart flutter.

"I would never." Shelby whispers, switching her gaze from Toni's eyes to her lips. Shelby wanted to kiss Toni so badly, that she didn't even realise she was biting her lip, resulting in a quiet sigh from Toni.

"We're in public, Shelby. As much as I want to kiss you, I know you don't want the girls to find out." Toni responds, quietly. Shelby nods, agreeing with Toni's perspective.

"Hey guys. No offence, but Nora and Rachel are kinda in danger, and you both are definitely not helping!" Fatin shouts towards Toni and Shelby, smirking at the sexual tension they both were exerting.

"We're not even helping, Fatin." Leah replies, causing Fatin to look at her.

"I am wearing a very expensive jacket, that I don't want to ruin."

"You know, you could take it off, right?" Dot responds.

"Damn, cargo shorts. I didn't know you wanted to see me strip already. We're not even living together in our apartment in LA yet." Fatin smirks, causing Dot to shake her head, with a smile. "Also, I don't wanna be mauled by a shark." The other girl nodded at Fatin's statement.

Meanwhile, with Nora and Rachel...

"Rachel!.... Rachel!" Nora exclaims, as loudly as she could, feeling beyond scared for her sister. Rachel finally heard Nora, and looked at her in surprise. "There's a shark, coming towards you!" Rachel quickly swam away from the shark, as quickly as she could. However, she wasn't fast enough.

The shark was inches away from killing Rachel, before Nora swam towards it, to stab it with her knife. The shark was only injured by it, but blood was leaking out of the wound.
