Chapter 11 - I can't believe this

This chapter is a doozie.....

Shelby and Toni made their way to the group, who were sitting around the fire. Shelby and Toni took a seat next to each other, with their hands still intertwined, causing Fatin to let out the biggest smirk.

"It looks like our favourite couple is alright now." Fatin remarked, causing Toni to scowl at Fatin.

"We were alright before." Toni replied, looking at Hunter. "She was just busy."

"Fatin. Leave them alone." Leah announced, slowly stroking Fatin's arm. Fatin looked at Leah, and nodded.

This time, it was Toni's turn to smirk towards Fatin and Leah. They all knew how close Leah and Fatin are. Fatin would never admit how whipped she is for Leah.

"Look who is whipped now?" Toni coughed out, causing everyone to laugh. Fatin let out a small chuckle just to spite Toni.

The banter that Toni and Fatin have, always lightened everyone's mood. It was the only thing that kept them sane, making them forget their problems.

"So, who's going to look for some food?" Tom questioned, making everyone look at him.

"We also need more timber for the fire." Taylor stated, making everyone nod.

"Ok. We should split into groups or pairs." Dot answered.

"Tom, you go with Martha. Taylor, you go with Rachel. Quinn, you're with Nora. Joey, you go with Dylan. Archie, you go with Leah and Fatin. Andrew, you're with Toni and Shelby. Hunter, you're with me. Got it?" Dot voiced. Everyone nodded. "Tom, Martha, Taylor, Rachel, Quinn and Nora, look for some timber for the fire. Everyone else, look for some food."

The group that was looking for food, took some spears and stakes, to kill animals that they could later cook to eat . Dot was quite wary that she put Andrew with Toni and Shelby. She didn't trust Andrew at all. He hasn't spoken much, since the girls had come across him, and the rest of the boys.

Toni and Shelby made their way into the woods, with Andrew trailing behind them. Andrew stares at the pair, making sure they didn't leave his sight. Toni and Shelby slowly made their way across the woods, focussing on the quiet sounds of the creatures in the woods. What they didn't notice...shook them to the bone.

Andrew sneaked up behind Toni, and stabbed her with his stake, in the stomach. Toni looked down at the stake in her stomach and then averted her gaze to look Andrew in his eyes. His eyes held anger and mischief. Shelby just looked at the pair, unable to move or think. It was like her body shut down, when Andrew drove that stake into the love of her life.

Toni gasped out, feeling the pain in her stomach. Andrew let go of Toni, making her lean against the tree, and slide to the floor. She needed to get the stake out of her, but she knew she would lose too much blood. Her only concern was Shelby.

Shelby held a fearful look in her eyes, that were once bright. She couldn't move because she was absolutely frightened. This allowed Andrew to advance forward towards Shelby, with a huge grin on his face. Shelby couldn't breathe.

"It looks like we're in this predicament, again. Just like before, I am in charge." Andrew was now face to face with Shelby. He took her spear from her hands, and threw it out of reach. Shelby was too shocked, to even move an inch.
