The next morning

The girls crowded around the fire, trying to warm themselves up. The only girls that weren't there were, Toni and Shelby. Both girls were at their habitat, with Toni's arms wrapped around Shelby's waist.

"Who's gonna address the big elephant in the room?" Dot questioned, breaking the silence.

"Firstly Cargo pants, we're not in a room, we're on an island, so it should be, 'who's going to address the big elephant on the island.?' Secondly, what the fuck are you talking about?" Fatin expressed, making the girls laugh.

"Firstly, that didn't make any sense and secondly, I am talking about Shelby and Toni. You can't tell me you couldn't feel the sexual tension between them." The girls looked at Dot, and agreed with her.

"They literally hated each other before, and now Toni becomes soft every time Shelby looks at her, with love hearts in her eyes." Leah stated.

"Who has love hearts in their eyes?" Shelby interrupted, making the girls look towards her.

"Me. I have a look of affection every time I look at someone." Fatin replied.

"Who were you looking at?" Shelby asked.

Fatin turned to the other girls with a smirk. The girls knew immediately what Fatin was going to do.

"Toni. I look at Toni with such affection." Fatin smiled at Shelby, causing Shelby to feel anger in her veins, at both the statement and gesture.

Shelby tightened her fist, but instantly calmed down, when she felt a familiar hand on her shoulder.

"What's wrong?" Toni asked Shelby, feeling worried when she looked at Shelby.

"Nothing." Shelby sat down, away from the other girls, making Toni worry even more. She looked at the girls, making the girls shrug.

"I see your ankle has healed, Shelby." Dot pointed out.

"Yeah. It was a good thing Toni listened to me, when Martha had a sprained ankle. You had to immobilise it, with a splint or a cast."

"Of course I listened to you." Toni sat next to Shelby, causing Shelby to move away from her. That action broke Toni's heart, who just sighed.

Shelby looked at the sand, while Toni played with the sand, trying to figure out why Shelby was upset at her.

"We need to find more timber for the fire." Nora said to the girls, breaking the awkward silence.

"I'll go. I need to get out of here, anyways." Toni expressed, making her way towards the woods.

Shelby gazed at Toni walking away, and sighed quietly.

"Shelby. Go with her." Rachel commanded.

Shelby looked at the girls, who all gestured towards the woods.

Shelby nodded, and made her way towards the woods.

Once Shelby was out of sight, Martha stated, "Fatin. You shouldn't have said that to Shelby. She's so jealous, but she won't admit it."

"I was only playing with her. If her 'relationship' or whatever she has with Toni is strong, then they will overcome this."

"And, if not?" Leah wondered.
