LIFE WAS, well, bittersweet. On the positive side business in the shop was booming and the Twins couldn't be happier. Ever since the summer started Fred and George had new customers coming in every day and buying loads of products - Ron said people were stockpiling them for going back to Hogwarts.
Bee and her friends met up as often as they could. Angelina used to come hang out in the flat every day until George finally manned up and asked her to move in, which she of course said yes to.
Lee was still living with his parents and was currently a summer intern at a radio station to prepare him for a career in sports reporting. Holly was also still living at home while she was training to become an auror, although once they saved up enough money her and Lee were planning on buying a place together.
Raven, Alicia and Mia all decided to rent an apartment together, none of them wanted to live in their childhood home much longer. Raven just started her five year healer course, Mia was working at a bookshop for the summer - she was still to figure out what she wanted her long term job to be and Alicia was teaching little kids how to play Quidditch.
Beatrice was still struggling to find a job, on days where the shop was especially busy she would help out but Bee wanted her own job, she didn't want to work for her boyfriend.
The end of the summer holidays neared and with it came the flurry of Hogwarts pupils coming to Diagon Alley for their school supplies.
One day Beatrice noticed Ron, Hermione and Harry enter the shop.
"Mornin' guys" Bee grinned at Harry and Hermione, Ron had ran off to see some of the new products.
"You know, this really is extraordinary magic." Hermione glanced up from the product she was looking at, something that put you into a thirty minute daydream.
"For that Hermione, you can have one for free." Fred snuck up on the group, beaming in his new bright magenta robes. "How are you Harry?" He shook the dark haired boys' hand.
"What happened to your eye Hermione?" Bee gasped suddenly realising the large black and blue bruise.
"This chump's punching telescope" Hermione motioned to Fred.
"Oh blimey I forgot about those" Fred said. "Here-" He pulled a tube out of his pocket and handed it to the bushy haired teen. "Just dab that on and the bruise'll be gone within an hour."
"It is safe isn't it" Hermione asked worriedly.
"Course it is, George and I used to use it on ourselves when we tested the products. C'mon Harry I'll give you a tour."
"Do you wanna come see the WonderWitch section?" Bee asked Hermione.
"Of course, you know these products really are amazing." Hermione said before starting to ramble on about the magic behind them.
Ginny was already standing near the array of bright pink bottles and tubes where a cluster of excited girls were giggling.
"Best range of love potions you'll find anywhere" Fred said from behind Ginny, Hermione and Bee.
"Do they work?" Ginny raised an eyebrow at her older brother.
"Certainly, for up to twenty-four hours at a time depending on the weight of the boy in question-"
"And the attractiveness of the girl" George said, appearing at their side. "But we're not selling them to our sister, not when she's already got about five boys on the go from what we've-"
"Whatever you've heard from a Ron is a big fat lie" Ginny said calmly.
"Even if it is true you two can't exactly comment on Ginny's love life, you both had quite a few girls on your arm when you were younger." Bee laughed.
"Piss off" Fred joked.
"What's this?" Ginny picked up a pink bottle.
"Guaranteed ten second pimple vanisher" Fred said. "Excellent on everything from boils to blackheads but don't try to change the subject. Are you or are you not dating Dean Thomas?"
"Yes I am, and last time I looked he was one boy, not five" Ginny snapped.
Beatrice watched Fred and George teased their little sister for a while longer before the Weasleys, Harry and Hermione had to leave the shop.
"Does it make you miss Hogwarts?" Bee asked.
"Huh?" Fred looked up confused.
"Ron, Ginny, Harry and Hermione being here, it makes me feel old" Beatrice laughed. "And sort of nostalgic."
"I mean yeah, sort of makes me miss the Hogwarts, not the actual schoolwork but seeing all our friends everyday and pulling pranks." Fred smiled thinking back to his school days. "But everyone has to grow up, and I love what we're doing now."
