BEATRICE GALLAGHER woke up ecstatic on September 1st. Sure she loved being home for the holidays but Hogwarts holds a special place in her heart.Bee got up early for her morning run like usual then ate breakfast. Her family were on a strict schedule to get to King's Cross Station on time.
Bee smiled, thinking about her summer. The perfect holiday had ended the perfect way. Roger Davies and Beatrice Gallagher had officially started dating. It wasn't Bee's dream romance book type relationship but it was something and it would make her parents proud.
Beatrice snapped out of her thoughts and began to focus on getting changed. She pulled on a basic black denim skirt, it was her comfiest skirt and just perfect for the train ride. For a top Bee picked out a fitted long sleeve white top and threw on a blue denim jacket on top.

Beatrice and her parents were rushing to apparate at 10:40, the train doesn't leave till 11 but the Gallagher family are always early.
Platform 9 and three quarters is always busy on September 1st, the new 1st years sobbing as they say their goodbyes, the young 3rd and 4th years running onto the train without even a glance goodbye and the emotional 7th years taking in every moment.
This year Bee is a seventh year and she, sticking to the stereotype, was taking in everything. Bee took in the smell of the steam coming off the train, she took in the sound of suitcases being wheeled along the platform.
Beatrice took in the sight of all her friends, knowing this year would be the last time she'd see some of them. She took in the feeling of the final hug with her parents and finally she took in the taste of her salty tears as she wished her parents goodbye for the final time. It was safe to say Bee was emotional.
As Beatrice boarded the train she spotted her best friends. The group of 4 girls made their way down the middle of the train trying to find a free compartment.
The group found a small compartment that looked like it could fit 4 people, maybe 6 if they squeezed. Mia and Bee sat on the left bench while Raven and Mia sat on the right.
The girls changed into their robes then after about 5 minutes of conversation Mia spoke up. "Erm girls why are the twins and Lee standing outside the door and staring through the glass."
Bee peered outside and laughed. All three boys had pleading looks on their faces and she couldn't help but wonder how long they'd been standing their for.
Holly signalled at them to come in, Fred slid in beside Beatrice, their bodies pushed up against each other's because of the lack of space. On the other bench Lee was pushed right up against Holly on his right while they both blushed and George sat to his left.
"So boys what brings you here" Bee asked.
"Well we thought we'd bless you with 3 handsome men" George joked.
"Really? When are they getting here?" Raven joked as all her friends sniggered.
"Ha ha ladies, no there was no other compartments free so we came here" Fred answered.
"Where's Angelina and Alicia?" Holly asked them, Angelina Johnson and Alicia Spinnet are the group's other friends.
"They ditches us and got a compartment with their sixth year friends - Katie and Leanne." Lee joked.
"So what's everyone's relationship statuses looking like" Mia smirked at her friends.
"Angelina and I just became official" George smiled as he thought of his girlfriend.
"I've sort of got my eye on someone" Lee said awkwardly eyeing Holly. Bee rolled her eyes, they were both so clueless.
"Well I'm single and ready to mingle" Fred winked and Bee couldn't help but think the wink was directed at her.
Bee snapped out of her thoughts and suddenly remembered something. "Oh Raven shouldn't you be in the prefects compartment."
"Oh shit, bye guys! Raven hurried out of the compartment as everyone laughed.

That evening Beatrice Gallagher, Mia Abbott, Holly Miller, Raven Clearwater, Lee Jordan, Fred Weasley, George Weasley, Angelina Johnson and Alicia Spinnet were sitting in the library discussing the feast. It was safe to say the start of term feast wasn't exactly normal this year.
"Progress for the sake of progress must be discouraged. Let us preserve what must be preserved, perfect what can be perfected and prune practices that ought to be prohibited." Lee mocked the new defence teacher.
"I can already tell that Umbitch is gonna be a pain in the ass" said Alicia.
"Seriously does the women look in the mirror after she dresses herself, those cardigans should be illegal" Beatrice joked and the large group laughed.
"In all seriousness though guys you know what the speech means" Holly started. Everyone shook their heads expect Raven. "It means the ministry's interfering at Hogwarts" Raven finished her friends sentence as everyone became silent.
The group soon picked back up again though and soon enough they were joking and laughing. Mrs Pince even had to kick the group of 9 rowdy teens out of the library for being too loud.
