this is the first fic i wrote so this is probably my worst writing

THE NEXT morning Fred woke up regretting the previous night, it's not that he regretted his feelings for Beatrice, he just regretted the way he went about them.
"I took advantage of her Georgie. I took advantage of her and that's so wrong" Fred paced up and down.
"You didn't take advantage of her, you didn't force her into anything, she wasn't drunk, she wasn't unconscious. You were simply showing her how you feel." George tried to convince his twin.
"I don't even know how I feel" Fred sighed.
"Don't be a twat Fred, you've liked Bee for ages" Lee rolled his eyes.
"I have?" Fred squeaked.
"I don't wanna tell you how you feel bud but you've been showing signs for ages. You always want to spend time with her, you stare at her during classes, you blush around her-" George rambled.
"Okay I get the point, I do fancy her I just don't want to swoop in to fast after Roger. I don't want her to think I'm being insensitive." Fred frowned.
George and Lee turned silent, unsure on what to advise Fred to do.
"Ooh I have a plan" George smirked.

Beatrice felt like an utter idiot. What kind of person thanked someone after a kiss. It wasn't a bad kiss, in fact it was a great kiss, Bee just didn't know how to feel about it. Bee wasn't ready for another relationship, she just needs some time for herself at the moment.
Bee told Mia about her and Fred's kiss as soon as she got back to the dorms. Needless to say Mia's reaction was more than excited.
"Holy shit" Mia exclaimed. "It's about time."
"Huh?" Bee looked confused.
"I mean you do fancy him right?" Mia snorted.
"I- I don't know."
"Okay, well that's something you should figure out yourself rather than me telling you how you feel." Mia smiled.

Holly and Raven had similar reactions to Bee's story as Mia. Beatrice had told her other two closest friends about Fred before breakfast and it was safe to say they were excited about the prospect of Bee and Fred being together.
"Omggg you guys would literally be the cutest couple ever." Raven exclaimed.
"Whoa whoa whoa, I don't even know how I feel about Fred yet." Bee groaned.
"Well you should take some time to think things over, we're always here if you wanna talk and maybe if you and Fred do end up together then you could come on double dates with me and Lee." Holly grinned.
"Yeah maybe" Bee considered.

Defence Against The Dark Arts was fairly awkward, Fred sat in the seat behind Beatrice meaning he was staring at the back of her head for the full lesson. Holly, Lee and George knew about what's going on so they sat and giggled non stop while Angelina and Alicia, who didn't know anything, were completely lost.
Divination was a breath of fresh air, Bee managed to get some time to herself to try and think things over but her head was still a mess. Every time Bee thought she had her feelings sorted out another thought or question popped into her head and she was confused again.
Transfiguration rolled around and Bee knew it would be the hardest subject of the day to get through, luckily it was her last. Beatrice and Fred sat next to each other in Transfiguration. McGonagall has a seating plan which means there's no way Bee could move away from Fred.
The pair had managed to get half way through the lesson without interacting with each other, Bee turning away every time Fred made eye contact with her. So after thirty minutes of stolen glances Fred scribbled a note on an old bit of parchment. He passed it to Bee, making sure that McGonagall didn't see.

Beatrice grinned reading the note, she nodded back at Fred before turning back to her work.

Bee spent the rest of the day with her friends, sitting near Fred wasn't as awkward as it was previously. Now that the two had interacted they were no longer avoiding eye contact.
After dinner Bee and Mia headed back to the Hufflepuff common room, the pair played a few games of wizards chess and chatted for a while. At five to seven Bee got up with butterflies in her stomach and left to make her way to the kitchens to meet Fred.
"Hey" Bee whispered.
"Hi" Fred grinned.
"So.."
"So.."
"I'm sorry for running away last night, you really weren't that bad a kisser." Bee joked.
Fred ran his hand through his hair. "So I was gonna lead into this with small talk but I've decided to just fuck that. I think I like you Honey but I know you're probably confused so please come on 5 dates with me. After those dates if you decide that you don't want to date me then that's fine and if you do then that's brilliant. So what do you say, five little dates, no strings attached?"
"Okay" Bee said before even thinking the idea over. "Meet me here again tomorrow, same time and we can go on a date."
Bee started to walk away before she remembered one thing. "And keep it a secret Freddie, we don't want our parents finding out."

i'm really starting to enjoy writing these chapters now that bee and fred's relationship is developing. sorry i'm taking so long to get these chapters out, idk if anybody's even still reading at this point. it's sunday today and i go back to school in real life (full time) on wednesday which means updates might take a bit longer <33
