THROUGHOUT THE past few days Bee and Fred went around consumed in their own little bubble of elation. Well, that was until they realised that they had forgotten to tell their parents about the engagement. So Bee sat down one day and wrote two letters, one to her mum and dad and one to Fred's to tell them to come round to the flat.
"Fred and I have news." Bee announced to the four parents sitting on the couch with confused looks on their faces.
"Oh Merlin, are you pregnant?" Molly Weasley jumped up excitedly.
"No, god no." Bee laughed.
"Sorry mum, no babies yet." Fred joked.
Ashleigh Gallagher gasped, suddenly realising the large ring on her daughter's finger before nudging her husband Brian and pointing.
"What?" Molly spun round. "What have you guys seen?"
Then Arthur caught on. "Ohhh."
"We're engaged." Bee said, unable to stop smiling.
All four adults jumped up out of their seats and pulled the two teenagers into a group hug.
"We're so so happy for you." Brain Gallagher spoke, and Beatrice swore she saw a tear fall down her father's face.
"So when's the wedding?" Arthur asked.
"Umm we haven't really thought about it yet" Fred said.
"Well we'll have to get planning." Molly insisted.
"You have to choose your bridal party" Ashleigh added.
"And the venue." Molly interrupted.
"Oh and you'll have to buy your rings."
"Send out invitations."
"Buy outfits."
"And flowers."
The two women continued to add to their list of pre-wedding tasks until Fred and Bee's stopped them.
"Okay okay, we get the point, there's a lot to do." Bee laughed.
"Don't worry darling, we'll be here to help you every step of the way," Ashleigh beamed.

Not even two months later and it was the date of the wedding. Beatrice and Fred had decided on their date being Boxing Day, Bee had always wanted a winter wedding so they figured why not the day after Christmas.
