this is the first fic i wrote so this is probably my worst writing

THE HOLIDAYS seemed to pass way to fast for Bee's liking and before she knew it New Year was beginning to approach. Bee had never been a big fan of the holiday, she just felt like it was a bit fake. 'New year new me.'
"Just a bunch of bullshit isn't it" Bee mumbled to herself.
However this year Bee was a little excited for New Year's Eve. Lee Jordan's parents were going to a party at their friends' house so Lee had the house to himself. Meaning he was, of course, throwing a party. Lee had invited the full year and even a few sixth years to ensure the party would be big.
The twins and Bee hadn't exactly told their parents the truth, but they didn't lie either. The trio had told the adults that Lee was having a few friends over, they also carefully left out the fact his parents won't be there.
The evening of New Years Bee started to get ready pretty early. She got changed into a skimpy pink dress, a pair of plain white flat converse (Bee couldn't face heels) and a basic silver necklace with a small heart.
After getting dressed Bee decided to curl her hair, something she didn't do often due to the fact it always took her ages. Finally Bee did her makeup, nothing too heavy. A little bit concealer, highlight, blush, mascara and eyeshadow.
Fred, George and Bee got Charlotte to drive them to Lee's, the three teens were old enough to drive but none of them had a muggle license and they didn't want their parents to realise where they were going.
Lee's party started at 10 and the house was filled by 10.15, so far a big success. Bee had made the mistake of not counting how many drinks she'd had, resulting in the blonde getting a little tipsy. Beatrice was currently stumbling around Lee's kitchen, searching for more alcohol when she heard Fred snigger from behind her.
"What?" Bee said, slightly passive aggressively before laughing.
"You said you weren't going to get drunk tonight, your parents are gonna be so shocked at the state of you" Fred grinned, still reasonably sober having only drank one beer.
"Pfft they won't even realise that I've drank" Bee rolled her eyes.
"Okay love" Fred pressed a kiss to his girlfriend's cheek.
Bee spent the next hour dancing with Mia and Angelina, who were both, surprise surprise, absolutely steaming. The trio were bobbing up and down to Dancing Queen by Abba, a classic. They even managed to persuade Alicia, Holly and Raven to join them for Come On Eileen, a personal favourite of Bee's.
At exactly ten to midnight everyone who was attending the party made their way outside to cheers to the new year and watch the fireworks. Lee's house was quite lucky in the fact that he had a direct view of the place where the fireworks were let off.
"Cheers" Fred shouted (a little more drunk now than earlier), before kissing his girlfriend.
The party continued on for a while longer, Bee and the twins deciding to make the responsible decision and leave around 1am. However the group realised that they had absolutely no way to contact their parents or Charlotte to get them home. Lee's house was around a forty minute walk from Grimmauld Place so the trio decided to start walking.
Bee was definitely the most drunk out of the group and had to cling to Fred and George's shoulders. Thankfully George spotted a muggle taxi rink half way home.
Although their second problem hit Fred while in the taxi realising they didn't have a single penny on them to pay.
The taxi pulled up outside Grimmauld Place. "Hang on, I just need to go get some money from inside." Fred turned to George and Bee. "You guys wait here."
A few minutes later Fred came back out with muggle money. "That'll be eight pounds, 56 pence" the taxi driver said.
"Erm, well.." Fred stuttered. Bee grabbed the money, counted out the right amount and handed it to the driver. "Thanks mate."
The group made their way back inside, thankfully without falling over.
"Hello loves!" Mrs Weasley exclaimed as the trio stepped through the door. "How was the party?"
"Good" George smiled, rubbing his head. "I think we're just gonna go to bed mum, I have a bit of a headache."
The twins and Bee went upstairs and fell asleep almost immediately.
"Did you talk to them?" Ashley giggled, appearing from round the corridor.
"Yup, they were drunk as sailors. I spoke loud on purepose, they had headaches." Molly snorted.
"Nice one" Ashley high-fived her.

The next few days were pretty uneventful, well as uneventful as they could be with the Weasley's running around. Particularly Fred and George who were taking every moment possible to try and prank someone using their latest products.
"You know I don't mind if you prank me Freddie, you don't have to dodge me like I'm a bomb about to go off" Bee joked.
"I know but I just don't wanna hurt you, what if a product goes wrong or if I accidentally make a mistake?" Fred frowned.
"You're too sweet." Bee grinned.
That night all the kids started packing for going back to Hogwarts. Bee managed to pack her things up fairly quickly until she only had a few bits left.
Sirius, George and Fred burst into Bee's room as she was putting away a pair of handcuffs from Halloween that she accidentally brought with her.
"Ew, is this what you guys do when you 'watch movies'?" George glanced from Bee to Fred and back again as Sirius started chuckling. Fred looked confused before he finally got why the boys were laughing.
"Fuck off George" Fred shook his head.
"They're from Halloween, get your head out of the gutter guys" Bee laughed.

authors note - sorry this was kinda choppy lol i wrote it really fast. i also literally never wrote anything for a month but i'm back now it was a lil bit of a stressful time with school though but then my holiday break started and i thought i'd have time to write but my little brother caught coronavirus so i wasn't on wattpad a lot. he's fine though now but we're still isolating so i'm trying to pre-write some chapters so i don't have to write a lot when i go back to school <33
