Infinities

chapter 2

After the hour drive I see the house I could never call home. I wouldn't say it's a mansion but its bigger than many people's houses.

After loading the cars in the house and grabbing a bottle of water, my parents are no where to be found. My brother gave me a note mom left and went up to his room for a duffle bag.

"Where are you going?"

"Me and Terry are going on a camping trip and then apartment hunting. We're hoping if we tell them were homeless they will lower the price."

Terry is Marcus's girlfriend of 4 years from there junior year in high school. " You guys ate moving in together?"

"Yea, we're hoping to find a place close to campus." His college is an hour away the opposite direction from my school. I am sad cause he is leaving me for the summer. I would be left with only my parents. Scratch that left by myself.

"Hey I'll be back in 5 days."

With the those words I feel relieved.

"Later baby girl. Terry is waiting."

He kissed me on my forehead and left. Just like that I am alone in this house. I run upstairs to take off my school uniform and unpack by bags. While unpacking I see the box that Tobia and Brianna left me with strick instructions not to open it until tomorrow morning. To think tomorrow I will be 16. June the 14th was my absolute favorite day of the year. My parents would spoil me and get me anything I asked for. I haven't even thought about what I would want this year.

After I change in a pair of sweats I read the note my parents left me. It said they will not be home until early the next morning so I should go over to our new neighbors "The Fennels" and have dinner and that they are expecting me.

Great my parents are the best there is. I mean the last time they saw me was new years I couldn't have gotten plastic surgery for all they know. I hope these "Fennel's" have kids within my age group.

I walk over to their house and a middle aged woman who looks like she just got back from work answered the door. "Jianna?" She asked as she saw me. "Yes, hi. Umm are you Mrs.Fennel ?"

"Yes that's me come in, your mom told me you'd be coming over." I give a polite smile. "However I can't entertain you, because I have work to do." Walked into the den and she yelled up the stairs "Skyler could you come here please! My daughter Skyler just turned 17 in April. Your birthday is tomorrow right?" I give her a small nod. "Have any big plans?" As I open my mouth to answer I am cut off by a girly shriek "Jianna!" She hugged me like we have already met.

"Hi . I'm Skyler your mom has told me so much about you!" My mother found me a friend? Shocker. "Hi I'm Jianna, nice to meet you."

"I'll let you guys get acquainted." Mrs.Fennel stated as she walked in an office off the den.

"Come on let's go to the play room."

We rushed up the stairs an entered an entertainment room that had "playroom" on the door.

"Yow Jianna is here !"

We're they waiting for my arrival ? Did my parents make me out to be some sort of movie star I don't get it.

"Jianna this is my little brother Gabe he's 8 and that's my twin Tyler."

Gabe was the little brother you dreamed about, cute had a smile that could melt ur heart and he immediately hugged me making me feel loved. Tyler was, as Tobia would put it , too cute to be single. He had on black jeans, converse and a black and red flannel. He paired the look with a black tam and a pair of diamond earrings. Skyler and Tyler must be fraternal twins because they look nothing alike. Skyler was about 5"3 like me and Tyler was about 5"8 or 5"9.

"So Jianna can you swim ? " Tyler's voice was one that left an impression on you, one you wanted to here over and over again.

"Yea I can."

"Good a few friends are coming over to go swimming so get out of those clothes and get into something more sexy." He said with a smile. Should I be insulted?

Oh crap I only have one piece bathing suits. An no way I'm wearing those here.
