part 2 chapter 4

Its that time of the year again PROM season! I am so excited for this can you tell ? Having two proms this year might be a bit stressful but worth it. This past year of school I have to say is one of my best. I joined some extra curriculars, made some new friends got good grades as per usual and day had a banging boyfriend for all of it. I am kinds glad Tyler and I went to separate schools you know gave me an opportunity to go to two proms gives me time to make up for missing my junior prom last year.  

It's currently 11 am and school doesn't end until 3. As you can probably tell I'm excited to get out of school today because I'm Going home this weekend. Tonight is some auction at the twins school, something about trying to raise money to upgrade their senior prom. Obviously I was going to go Sky says they're having a win a date auction and Ty was one of them being auctioned. He had asked me if I was ok with it before agreeing, I told him sure. Ty was mine and i trusted him, what's one petty date. Plus Jace is the one that signed him up and we all know how much of an asshole he can be, plus it would look bad if he declined or backed out, plus  i'll be there so ain't nobody getting my man. He doesn't know I'm coming either so he'll be so shocked to see me, which is always the best way.

I waited for the clock to strike 3, but it seems like forever. I was currently in my last class of the day. Anticipation took over my body as I was waiting. Should I text him tell him I was coming ?  Nahhhhhhhh but I really wanna. To ensure I didn't spill the beans I haven't spoken to him all week actually.

"Jianna quit daydreaming. School's finally freaking  out." Tobia said with relief in her voice.

"Oh sorry I was ..."

"Thinking about seeing Bae tonight." She said in a mocking voice. I chuckled along with her as I grabbed my stuff and bolted for the door.

"So what's the plan for this weekend?" She asked me. As we walked down the hallway of the school building.

"I have to go to the mall and get a dress for tonight because it's formal and a new lipstick. Sky says the auction starts at 6." I told her as we reach the front door.

"Then what are we still doing here ? Let's go to the mall. " She said pulling me towards my car.

"Aren't you suppose to be meeting Troy and shouldn't we text Brianna ?" I asked pulling my door. I feel as if I should stop by my room and get a few things for this weekend but I'm gonna be home so that's ok I hope.

"She's busy we'll facetime her when we get to the store." She said while closing the door. "Plus i'll have Troy pick me up from the mall later. Let's go.

After about an hour in the mall we finally found a dress. It's a red strapless dress that ended mid thigh. Tobia was gonna buy the blue to match but then she remembered our prom is like 2 weeks away and that wasn't gonna cut it for the statement she wanted to make. It also dawned on me that I'd have to get two prom dresses the good thing is that while mine was in 2 weeks there's a another 2 weeks after that for Tyler and Skyler's their's is the day after their graduation. 

We ducked into Mac and I bought a ruby woo lipstick, which Sky said is the best red on the market.

"Oh crap" I blurted out as we left Mac.

"What's wrong ?" Tobia asked stopping in her tracks.

"I don't have a strapless bra at my house." Again should have stopped by my room. Not that I have any bras there i could wear.

"So why the big excitement, you almost have me a heart attack. You do now we are in the mall and there are stores here." She said sarcastically. I roll my eyes and follow her to Victoria's secret to get some undwear.
