Chapter 13

This was it, I mean evaluation day was over, and now its time to tell Tyler how I feel. This was all that was on my mind throughout the evaluation process. Brianna and I went through the day together, Tyler got bored and started to wander off about after the second interview. I had ten interviews over all so i think we know who felt the pain.

My day consisted on teachers telling me that i had too much potential to not attend an Ivy League school, and how i should major in there subject area. I even got an A in gym. The worst part of my day was my form room teacher telling me that I'd have to join two clubs to try and meet the schools extra curricular aspect. Sigh why couldn't I start my own club named, well the hang out in our room and watch Netflix club. I'm sure I'd have a lot of members. Now what am I suppose to do. Brianna said i should try cheer leading because i did gymnastics up until age 14, but that was years ago. Plus there is too much work in being a cheerleader. Do you know how many times a week they practice? let me tell you its a lot. I told her I'll think about it because I don't see anything else I'd wanna do.

Did I mention that its 5:30 and I haven't had anything to eat. Where the hell is Tyler. Brianna and I started searching high and low for him but he was no where to be found. I decided to text him.

Jianna: where r u ?

Tyler: ur joking right how am i suppose to know .

This is why you don't wonder off in new places by yourself.

Jianna: landmarks! what is something you see that stands out.

Tyler: well i see two fountains with a sign that says Achieve and believe.

He's by the quad. which is on the other side of the campus. After what seems like an eternity walking we reach to the quad where it seems like every one decided to catch up before they go. Brianna and I hut for Tyler through the crowd of people.

"Jianna ?! " I heard my name being called. I turned my head to see it was Austin. Austin Brown, he was in my math, history and bio class and I tutored him in German freshman year.

"Hey Austin how are you ? "

"I'm fine, thank you, and you ?"

"Starving, but other than that I'm pretty good. "

He laughed at my brutal honesty but I really was hungry.

"So are you coming to Amanda's party on Friday ?"

Amanda was his cousin, Austin's parents died when he was 4 so Amanda's parents took him in and raised him as there own.

Amanda was next in line for head cheer leader while Austin was in the glee club. They were complete opposites but they still cared about each other.

"I don't think so, I'm not a party kind if girl."

"I really hope you decide to come, so I get to see you outside of school. How bout you take my number and we can plan to hang out sometime?"

"Well sure I'd like that." i gave him a small smile.

"Great, here's my number." he gave me a card with his name, number and email address.

We stood thee smiling at each other for a while before I felt a hand come across my shoulders.

"If I were to wait on you to find me, we'd be here all night. Sup man ." Tyler and Austin smile and each other and bro hug.

"Am I missing something here?" I point between the two. How do they know each other.

" Tyler here highjacked our little performance of Its Not Unusual today. Then proceeded to dance like Carlton from the Fresh Prince. "

I couldn't help but brust into spontaneous laughter, my eyes watered.

"Tyler, singing! Dancing! Please tell me someone got that on tape."

"No! And please don't say anything to Sky or my mom. Let's just make this stay right here. Don't say anything to Alex or Josh either for god's sake."

I still laugh to the point where I'm coughing. This is too much.

"Its an awesome song. There's nothing wrong with having a guilty pleasures."

As always he starts messing with me and I start messing back. Completely oblivious to the fact that people are with us.

Austin's voice broke the bond between Tyler and I.

"Am i missing something here ?" its only after Austin's statement i realize how things look between Tyler and I.

"Nope!" both of said it simultaneously, then laughed when we realized that we spoke at the same time.

"So you guys aren't..." his hand gestures between the two of us but we shake our heads no.

"We're neighbors Austin, he gave me a ride today because my mom was too busy. Speaking of which," I turn my attention to Tyler " what gives? aren't you hungry? or did the power of music fill you?" I chuckle remembering to rub this in as much as I can.

"I've been waiting on you for the whole day. And they said evaluations ended at three, where were you ?"

"I'll tell you on the way home, Brianna is coming with us by the way, we'll drop her off at her house."

"ok lets go then" he rests his hand over my shoulder and I tell Austin good bye.

We decided on a pizza hut that's near campus. We ordered a large meatlovers pizza with stuffed crust and 3 sodas.

"ohh by the way guys, I met this girl and she invited me to a party at her house."

I choke on my soda at his words. Brianna then proceeds to rub my back and ask if i was ok, but i just kept coughing.

"Which girl Ty?" Brianna asked while I stop coughing.

"I met her by the fountain today her name is Amanda."

Before i could even register what was coming out of my mouth it just happened.

"So you gonna sleep with her too!"
