part 2 chapter 7

It's finally here, Prom week. Let's just say Tobia turned this week into boot camp. It started from Sunday night, when she gave us this weeks agenda. It's Friday night and we're at a nail salon close to our school, getting the obvious done. Brianna put up a fight but Tobia got her in a chair to get her toes and nails done.

I got tips and all being a girl and stuff. Painted them white cause well white goes with everything.  Next step hair salon.

"I can't believe I'm doing this." Brianna says as she's getting her hair done.  I don't know what She's complaining about, her hair is the easiest to do out of all of us.

"Stop complaining, this is suppose to be the best night of high school. We should go all out. Furthermore you waited until the last minute to get a dress, your lucky we found one yesterday." Tobia said looking at her hair in the mirror.

"Yea a dress that cost me 90 bucks." She grumbles and I laugh.

"Mine cost 130." I say and she looks at me like I've lost my mind.

"Why not just go naked. That would work." She says and we all laugh.

"Jianna what time is lover boy coming tomorrow?" Tobia asks and I blush. The mere thought of him has me smiling like a goof.

"I don't know haven't spoken to him in a while."  I say twiddling my fingers.

"How long is a while, a day?"  Brianna mocks.

"You two are goals, everytime you hear his name you turn into mush and if it wasn't for the rule about no jewelry with the school uniform you'll never take the ring off." Toby gushes and I can't help but you know blush.

"Ohh well, so how's Troy doing with promzilla?" I asked trying to change the subject.

"Troy is fine. He's at the barber getting a cut as we speak." She smiles looking pleased.

" I have a question, why are we getting our hair done today? Isn't this gonna be ruined by tomorrow evening?" Brianna asks as her hair got finished. Honestly I'd ask the same thing.

"Guy's there are such thing as bonnets. And we do them tonight so we don't have to be running around tomorrow or wake up by 6am." Well she has a point. God knows I wouldn't wake up not to mention Brianna.

I feel my phone vibrate and a smile instantly takes over my face.  Take a guess.

Boobear: hey baby girl, I missed you this week. How was your week?

Me: hey, this week was kl, school itself has been chill seeing as everyone is getting ready for prom tomorrow.

Boobear: ohh shoot, that's tomorrow damn.

Me: Tyler! You forgot didn't you!!

Boobear: lmao chill baby, I'm just messing. I'll be there by 3. Photos at 4 right? I got Tobia's itinerary. She reminds me of Skyler in a way.

Me: sigh don't play like that I thought I would have to find a new date.

Boobear: over my dead body. What I don't get, why are we going to dinner if foods gonna be at the prom?

Me: cause the food at prom will probably suck and it won't be alot. Plus the extra food will do you good.

Boobear: yea it will. Anywho I'm beat gonna turn in for the night. See you tomorrow beautiful 😚😚

"Texting lover boy huh, come on we gotta leave soon if we wanna catch curfew" Briana is not a happy camper right now. It's after 8 and she's not one to be out for 4 hours with nothing to eat.
