The drive from the dance was awkward. Skyler, ALex and Josh were around the back and I was at the front with Tyler who seemed to be out of it.

"So pizza or waffles?" To my surprise Tyler was the one to break the silence. I wanted pizza but I would be ok with whatever they choose. The majority voted on Ihop.

We arrived at the ihop at fifteen minutes past nine. I was not all that hungry but I loved IHOP's food when I got the chance to have it, so this decision was fine with me. IHOP was more crowded than I thought but we got seated quickly non the less.

A waitress comes to us by the name tiamoya. She is short and has short hair that complements her.

"Goodnight dolls what will it be." I think as Skyler, Josh and Alex order chocolate chip pancakes with a side of eggs and bacon. Should I have the same, nahh. "I'll have the chicken strips and fries with a side of French toast." Way to Go fatty let em know u a fatty! My inner self scoles me however I ignore her because I am hungry. After minutes of waiting Tyler decided to have the same as me and orders orange juice for us all.

Our food arrived 5 minutes later after Alex was telling the most bizarre I've ever heard, it made us all laugh though. When the food came I immediately take two fries and continue to listen to Alex and Tyler's jokes. It surprises me how Tyler was able to joke around after what had happened with Lexi. During the course of eating I almost choked twice, due to the excessive laughter.

"What time is it ?" I asked. "11:37" Alex answered and I almost shit my self. Ohh shoot I was suppose to Skype Brianna and Tobia at midnight.

"Why'd you ask ? " Tyler is suspicious. "I was suppose to Skype my roommates at 12 so they could see my reaction when I open their gift."

"How bout I drop y'all at pond and bring Jianna home ?" They all nod in agreement. Tyler dropped them back at Bradley and drove to our street.

We make it back to our street with 2 minutes left until midnight. When we reach our curb Lexi is sitting on it crying, like she was waiting for him to come home. "You wanna come inside?" I ask with an apologetic look and he nodded. Both of us walked like we didn't even see her. When I opened the door I ran up to my room and fired up my laptop. Tyler came behind me and took off his jacket placed it neatly on my bed. He grabbed a chair and places it right beside me.

The call immediately comes in and I answer it.

"Jianna is that you ?" Brianna seems surprised.

I don't Blane her she's only seen me in sweats and my uniform.

"Yea I went to a dance tonight."

"Who's the hunk ? " it was only a matter of time before one of them asked and I'm glad it was Tobia. But what do I say? " This is Tyler he's my neighbor."

"Hello young man." Tyler smiles I hope they don't start the twenty questions because frankly I don't know much about him my self.

"Hello young ladies." He mimics Tobia's words with a small bow and we all laugh. After about an hour of the three of them singing Happy Birthday to me and I opened my gift that exposed a matching charm bracelet with or dorm number or initials and a kola bear, my favorite animal, we ended the call.

"So what do you wanna do ? " I was clueless when he asked. After a 10 seconds of debating with my self I remember that I wanted to watch the 2013 remake of Romeo and Juliet.

"You wanna watch a movie?"

"Sure what do you have in mind ?"

"The 2013 remake of Romeo and Juliet."

"Yes!" Tyler's excitement towards the movie frightens me. "I've always wanted to watch it just could bring myself around to do so, I would love to compare and contrast the take on the original literature and the movie that is to appeal to persons of this generation." Was I talking to myself because I swear Tyler did not just say that. I thought I was the only one who does that. Half way through the movie I felt my eyes getting heavy and before I knew it I was out cold.
