Seeing as my plans were quickly ruined, I decided to go back to Draco's dorm. Even if he wasn't there, I enjoyed the company of his artwork and his bed sheets.
"Pure Blood." I whispered, allowing entrance into the Slytherin common room. I found Draco's room, and saw Crabbe standing in front of his door as if he were guarding it. "Good morning, can you move so I can enter?" I was testing out by asking nicely first.
"No way. Malfoy says nobody is getting in."
Crabbe demanded."Oh does he now? Well let's see how he feels when he finds out you refused to let me in-" The door opened, and I froze. It wasn't Draco, it was a girl. Pansy Parkinson opened the door as she stepped out staring evilly into my eyes.
She had bruises on her neck, the same ones I had. When Pansy left Crabbe began to walk away.
"And where are you going?" Pansy had left the door open, so my words drew Draco's attention to me as his eyes shot open.
"Malfoy said I could leave once Pansy left." Crabbe strolled off not giving it another thought.
"Oh did he now?" I said talking to Crabbe, but looking at Draco with glassy eyes as he walked towards me from inside his room. "Don't even." I reached in and grabbed his door knob then slammed it shut before he could make it out.
As I walked away I felt tears streaming down my face, and my ears rang so loud I couldn't even pay attention to Draco screaming my name.
"May please wait!" Draco grabbed my arm and I immediately yanked it away.
"Don't fucking touch me!" I screamed at him. The sight of my breakdown made his eyes water.
"May It's not what it looks like." He pleaded.
"I'm so fucking tired of people saying that to me! I'm done." I meant it.
"So that's it? You're just gonna go back to Diggory and forget any of this ever happened?" He scoffed frustrated.
"I'm not going back to Cedric for Merlin's sake Malfoy! I'm done with the both of you! You're both filled with empty words that mean nothing." I turned around to leave when he yelled one more thing.
"I love you!" I had my hand on the doorknob as I turned over to look at him, broken. I shook my head and walked out the door.
Draco's Pov
She was everything I could've possibly dreamed of. I loved her with everything I had. She sees everything I know is wrong with me, and she still wants me. When she left I took out a quill and began to write to my mother about her.
Dear Mother,
I've met a girl. You told me to tell you if I ever found a rock in my path that may distract me from what I'm supposed to be accomplishing in order gain the Dark Lord's favor, and she already is one. However, she's just the distraction that I need. She makes me forget everything I'm meant to be. Please don't tell father, but she isn't of pure blood, yet she has the purest soul of anyone I've ever met. I love her mother.
Sincerely,
DracoAs soon as I sent my owl out I heard a knock on my door. I was hoping she had already came back, but to much disappointment it was Pansy.
"What do you want urchin?" I spat at her.
"Your father owled me." She said crossing her arms.
"So you're here to tell me you're still screwing him?" I rolled my eyes at her.
"Get over it Malfoy it was only two times. He told me to talk to you about you know-" I shoved my hand over her mouth and pulled her into my room slamming the door shut. Everyone knows 'you know who' means Voldemort, and everyone also knew my parents were death eaters.
"God would you shut up you moron?" I opened the door back up and called out for Goyle, but he wasn't there. "Crabbe stand by the door and don't let anyone near it until Pansy's gone."
"Yes sir Malfoy." He did a stupid salute and I shut the door again.
"What did my father tell you?" I asked her.
"He said you've been distracted, and he's right. I went by the room of requirements and you haven't touched the cabinet at all. You're lucky I didn't tell him about that half blood, so stop screwing the little slut and-" When she called her that my blood boiled and every bone in my body surrendered to anger.
I grabbed her by the throat and lifted her off the ground so I was the only thing granting her oxygen. I didn't grab her like I grab May, I grabbed her with a grasp that could've killed her if I held her there a second longer than I did. When I let go she fell to the ground.
"I'm not soft like her either. You know I like when you choke me." She smirked which made me even more furious.
"Get the fuck out." I scoffed pointing at the door, and she left. I ran my fingers through my hair facing the back wall, when I heard her voice. Shit.
"Malfoy said I could leave once Pansy left." This is exactly why I ask Goyle to do these things. I'm going to kill that fucking moron.
She looked at me with heartbroken eyes, and it pained me. After what happened with Cedric, she wouldn't believe me. I couldn't tell her why Pansy was really there, which left me absolutely stumped at what else to say, so I did all I could.
"I love you!" I blurted out. I was going to wait until we had been seeing each other longer, but she was about to leave me. It didn't work anyways, she left. The love of my life walked out the door. I grabbed the lamp that sat on the coffee table and threw it at the wall.
"Fuck!" I yelled out loud for everyone to hear before slamming the door to my dorm.
Anything in my room that my fingertips were capable of touching I threw at the wall until my room was nothing but broken glass. Even the paintings on my wall reminded me of her. She didn't even realize that every single one was about her. Sitting on my bathroom counter was the one bottle of whiskey I hadn't thrown at the wall, and I drank all of it.
