Draco's Pov
After I left her bedroom, my mind ran wild. What if he touched her? Kissed her? Or worse, what if she didn't stop him? This was exactly the reason Voldemort wanted her gone, she was the biggest bloody distraction I had, but the best kind.
I had to pull it together, and go start on the task I had been dreading for so long. Fixing the cabinet that would put the girl I love in danger. As I did my first trial, which was testing the vanishing skills on an apple, I went as slow as possible. When I was done for the day, I needed to be able to see her face. The apple came back, and with a bite taken, it worked.
I ran my hands through my hair, nervous at how quickly it was working. However, my nervousness quickly turned into excitement when I imagined how gorgeous May would look while I fucked her in every corner of the room. God she wasn't even in the room and she was still my biggest distraction.
I went to that damned Gryffindor common room to wait for her. A moron idea that was. Hermione Granger stepped out, and immediately averted the weasels attention once she saw me. "Ron, I think left my spell book in your room, would you go check for me?" She pressed her hand on his chest to stop him from coming out any further, which would put me into view.
"Sure." He said sketched out.
"Malfoy what are you doing here?" Muttered Granger quietly, yet still so annoyingly aggressive.
"I'm waiting for- Ohh, that's right." Day one and I already forgot that we were a secret.
"You can't be waiting for her Malfoy! How do you think it will look when she gets back from her date and her ex boyfriend is waiting for her. Because that's what people need to believe Malfoy, ex boyfriend." Although I knew May and I were still together, hearing Granger call me her ex made my heart sink.
"You're friends with George, you don't think he'd-"
"Try anything? Nothing more than a kiss, and even then he'd ask permission. You should thank Merlin that it's not Fred who took interest." She laughed, what does that mean? You know what, doesn't matter, I'm already worrying about one twin.
"When will she be back?" I asked eager, so I could at least know when to return.
"I'm not sure, it's been 3 hours so probably-" Hermione was cut off by laughter entering the painting, and she quickly pushed me to the ground so that I was hidden behind a couch, and I snarled at her. "How was your date?"
"Oh, we agreed not to call it that." George spoke, and I wasn't complaining. That's my girl. "Just getting to know each other differently, right angel?" I take it back, I'm complaining. Angel. Shut the fuck up.
"That's right Georgie." I could feel her smirking. "I'll catch you later, I've got some work to do."
"So do I, but I had a great time talking today May really. Let me know if you ever need to let anything like that out again okay? I'm here." Let what out? What did she need to 'let out' that she couldn't tell me? He kissed her cheek gently with a hand on her waist, and then left to his dorm.
"May, get your ferret under control!" Hermione whisper yelled, grabbing my collar and pulling me up from behind the couch.
"Draco! Are you mental?!" She muttered, but all I could focus on was how her eyes dialed when she was angry. "You shouldn't be here, at least not in the open!"
"Then take me to your room darling." I smirked.
"Mione!" Came a voice from up the stairs on the boys side. "I found your spell book!" Weasley.
"Quick! Go!" Hermione pushed the both of us up the stairs to the girls dorms, where she led me to her room.
Your Pov
"How was your date?" He spoke emotionless. Draco was fuming jealous and it was amazing.
"It was nice, why do you care?" I winked to provoke him.
"Seriously Kingsley? I'm your boyfriend asking how your date with another man went, yet I'm getting questioned?" He seemed frustrated, but also rather amused by me as he choked back a smile.
"You enjoy it." I walked up to him, and wrapped my arms around his neck before kissing him softly and prolonged.
"I enjoy everything about you." His forehead was pressed to mine, and our hot breaths were mixed. "How was your date with lover boy my dear?"
"We're not calling it that, but I'm sure you already knew that from listening." Slowly, our bodies began to sway back and forth with each other as we just talked.
"I did, and it does make me much less paranoid." His hand began to draw shapes on my back as he stood close to me. "What did you need to let out darling?"
"We were just talking about my dad, whoever he may be." For someone who grew up in a full home, George gave great advice. "I hold a lot of resentment towards him you know? Why screw a muggle if you're afraid of having a half blood? Take some damn responsibility." I ranted after thinking I had let it all out of my system.
"What if that's not really why he left?" Draco seemed tense, and that was a really strange allegation.
"So you think my mother lied to me my whole life to believe my father hates me." I spoke slightly offended.
"N-No, I'm sorry dear I didn't mean it like that. I just wanted to hope there was a different reason, for your sake." He was searching for forgiveness in my eyes as he kissed my hand, so I decided not to pick a fight. I knew what he meant by that statement. "Why haven't you ever talked to me about him?"
"It never comes up, I suppose I just don't wanna over shadow what you go through at home." Draco looked deep into my eyes before pulling me into a somewhat random kiss.
"Your problems matter too darling." He spoke seriously.
"Draco you know I don't fancy George like that? You were the last person I'll ever fancy." He was confused by my use of past tense.
"Were?" He asked.
"What we have is far more than a fancying, I love you Draco, and I never intend to have another fancying stage. Because I will forever be in the love stage with you." I hoped my words were reassuring, and he knew he had no reason to be jealous of George Weasley. Right?
