"Hey what happened?"
"Are you ok?"
"Please text me back!"
"Arabella?"
"Call me when you can!"
"Arabella are you ok?"
"Please call me back!"
20 missed calls from FINN<3
Oh no! I can't believe that I had totally forgotten all about Finn, I thought to myself.
I immediately texted him back and explained what had happened. I sent a series of texts that replayed my fight with my parents and them sending me to New York.
He hadn't texted me back after a while so I figured he had fallen asleep or the lack of connection.
While I was texting him I realized that I would have to start college. Great another to add to my plate. Although I actually had nothing to do I didn't want to start learning! But I guess I could use it.
Growing up I went to fancy weekday school. We learned things about etiquette and basic schooling. I actually enjoyed school but this was very different. This was college.
LATER THAT WEEK
It was officially my first day of college, I went in undecided as my major, because my parents basically did everything for me so I didn't have a choice.
All of the classes that I had were prerequisites so I didn't have to worry about missing a day or two.
I was excited also because maybe I could make a friend or something. I'm a pretty shy person so it was harder for me to meet new people. But I made it a new goal so I wouldn't be completely alone at my time in New York.
My first class of the day was Chemistry. I actually wasn't too bad at the subject but then again it's Chemistry.
I walked into a huge lecture hall and sat down in the middle of the auditorium. It was pretty packed after about five minutes. A girl sat down next me after a while. She was so pretty, she had medium length dirty blonde hair and was very fashionable.
"Hi I'm Katie!" She said enthusiastically.
"Hi i'm Arabella!" I responded smiling reaching out my hand to shake hers.
"No way! That name is so unique. I love it!" Katie chimed as she reached hers out as well.
"Thank you! You are also super pretty!" I said.
I couldn't help but admire her features. Her wavy hair sat perfect on the white t shirt she had on. Her nose was perfect and was highlighted by the dark eye bags under her hazel brown eyes.
"Aww thanks you too! Hey also do you maybe wanna be study partners? I'm not good at Chem, so?" She asked placing her books on the desk that was right next to the one I was seated in.
"Yes of course! That would be so much fun! Also I'm sorta new around here and I don't know that many people so that's perfect." I said as the packet of papers for today's lesson was placed on my desk.
"You are going to love it here! It's New York, how could you not! Do you have plans later?" She asked as she began to flip through her packet.
"Not really. I will probably have homework but other than that no." I replied. I was a little nervous about what she was going to ask. I haven't branched out much to meet other people because my parents had always done the setting up.
