"Black coffee for the girl." He addressed the barista and handed her the amount that had appeared on the screen.

One thing I learned in New York is how expensive everything is. From transportation to living and especially the food. It's as if everything was made with more care than other places in the world.

Even though I do get my fair share of money sent to me from my parents. They often question me on how much I spend. But little do they know just how much everything is.

"That's not my normal order." I whisper to him quite enough for only us to hear. A little laugh came out as well when I realized it was nothing like anything I'd order. My normal order was an iced coffee with almond milk but apparently I would be having a Black coffee today. Yuck.

"Well I said I'd give you a New York experience so today you will be having a black coffee." He whispers back as the barista hands us the now ready coffees.

He takes his and walks over to the small counter covered with toppings and add-ins such as cream and sugar. I grabbed my coffee and thanked the barista who returned it with a smile. It kind of bothered me that he didn't say thank you to the barista but I guess some people weren't taught manners.

"So are you going to force cream and sugar into my coffee too?" I laughed as I reached my hand out for the almond milk. I thought I'd have control over this when I felt a hand wrap around my wrist slowly pulling my petite hand away from the jug containing the milk.

"Nope. I said full New York experience. I normally put two cream in and some sugar." He says back, still gripping my wrist.

His touch wasn't anything like Finn's. Finn's was delicate and soft while Luca's was cold and strange. He had a little force behind the grab but I still had space for my wrist to rotate in his grip. I could feel the cold metal of his rings that he had throughout his fingers.

"Okay but I need my hand back in order to grab it." I stated as I looked at him waiting for his grip to unhook.

He looked at me and let go of my grip. I looked up at him to see a hidden smirk appear on his face as he grabbed the cream for his coffee.

This morning has been quite a daze from the very start. I woke up early this morning with nervous butterflies in my stomach. We agreed to meet at 9 at the coffee shop but I was planning to show up a little late so I didn't seem too eager to meet up with him.

When I was leaving my apartment I looked at myself in the mirror, I was wearing a silk top, black jeans, and white heels which paired nicely with a light jacket. My fashion has improved greatly since first moving to New York and I have Katie to thank for that. She really knows what she is doing when it comes to how to dress.

I arrived at the coffee shop at 9:10 and walked inside to go meet him. When I entered I saw a few college students on computers and an older man reading the paper. But no Luca in sight.

I sat in the coffee shop for around 10 minutes until I heard the chimes of the bells go off. A tall figure with messy black hair entered. Everyone glanced over to the man who was now walking over to the table that I was sitting at. I smiled and waved at him. I could feel myself getting nervous because of the butterflies that soon started forming in my stomach.

"Sorry I'm late. I had some uh work to do." He almost stuttered as he sat down. His eyes gazed around the small cafe looking at the aray of people dining in it.

He was still much taller than me even sitting in his chair. He had on the same outfit he wore to the party which consisted of black skinny jeans and a black tshirt. The tshirt made his black inked tattoos visual. His hair was heavy but pushed back by the bandana that sat on his forehead.
