꧁THIRD PERSON꧂

The girl collected her old clothes from the bathroom and followed Corbyn out of the house. "Would you like to go in the car or on the motorbike?" Corbyn asked turning slightly towards the girl. Olivia hugged herself, shrugging her shoulders. Corbyn let out a small sigh of irritation then walked over to his car, getting into the driver's seat. The girl noticed his change in personality and quickly moved herself into to the passenger seat. The car ride was awfully quiet and the girl hated every second of it. The girl kept her brown orbs on the boy beside her, who was tapping his fingers on the steering wheel. "Can you stop?" an abrasive tone evident in his voice. "Sorry." the girl whispered, her eyes leaving the boy.

A couple minutes later the two made it outside the girls house. Olivia unclipped the seatbelt and reached for door handle, when Corbyn's hand grabbed her wrist gently pulling her back. Her brows snapped together in confusion, her eyes meeting his. "I just wanted to say..." although the boy wanted to apologise, his ego stopped the words from coming out. "Just wanted to say I'll see you around school." he finally let out. The girls eyes fell and she nodded her head giving a quick 'thanks for everything' and got out of the car. Olivia feared entering her house but she knew she had no other choice. Although Corbyn noticed the fear and sadness in her eyes he didn't think much of it.

Olivia walked over to her front door. The boy on the other hand didn't understand why he couldn't just drive away instead he stayed in his car making sure that Olivia actually made it inside. Before Olivia knocked on the door it flung open with Olivia's step mother behind it. Olivia got pulled in to the house by her wrist and the door slammed shut. Corbyn saw this but knew it wasn't his place to do or say anything.

The next day Olivia packed her bag and put on some new clothes. It was hot but Olivia still wore a hoodie to cover up her bruised wrists. She left her hair down and went to her bathroom to apply some makeup to cover up the light bruises that had formed over night. She rushed out the house way earlier than needed, and decided to walk to school. On her way to school she stopped by a gas station to pick up something to eat as she didn't have breakfast this morning. Walking into school only seeing a couple people here and there. She walked to her locker placed her bag in there, and got out her books. She shut her locker and started walking to the field at the back of the school. While looking at her phone she got a message from Jasmine;

Jasmine: Hey, do you want me to pick you and your brother up today?

Olivia: No, I'm already at school and Harvey can drive since I walked.

Jasmine: Damn, why so early?

Olivia: I'll explain later. Just get here already.

Around 30 minutes later, Olivia received another message from Jasmine wondering where she was, to which Olivia quickly replied saying she was at the field. The girls finally met up, taking a seat under a tree. "Hey, so.. you gonna tell me why you're at school so early?" Jasmine questioned. Olivia tried to tell her but all that came out of her mouth were stutters. She wasn't ready. "Are you ok? What's wrong?" Jasmine asked concerned for her friend. Olivia started to tear up, shaking her head facing the ground. Jasmine immediately comforted the girl with a hug, repeating the words "It's ok.", "You're ok.", "I'm here."
