꧁THIRD PERSON꧂
Olivia instantly turned around noticing the boy. No words came out of her mouth, her face went red. "I uh thank you?" she managed to say. "Yeah, who was it about? Sounded like they hurt you bad." The boy replied, slowly making his way into the small room. "Maybe they did, it's not any of your business." she responded. "Could have just said your ex." The boy replied, a corner of his mouth rising.
Olivia just sat there awkwardly not knowing what to do or say. She wasn't one to socialise, she preferred being alone. Corbyn could tell. He's been dying to ask what happened that night he dropped her home. Although he knew it was not his place, he still chose to ask. "What happened with your mum the night I took you home?" The girls eyes widened and glistened. "Nothing." She managed to say just above a whisper. Corbyn rolled his eyes before continuing, "You got dragged into your house and she didn't look happy, stop lying and tell me what happened." Olivia started twisting a small ring on her finger, not responding. "Answer me." Corbyn yelled at her. "Nothing happened." She responded with a harsher tone before softening it at the end, "Leave me alone."
Olivia got up to walk out the door but was immediately pinned against the wall. "You leave when you tell me what happened." The girl struggled to get out of his firm grip. "Nothing happened, just fucking leave me alone." She yelled, tears evident in her eyes. "It's not for you to know anyways." She yelled again before the bell interrupted them. "Sweetheart you're gonna be late to your next class if you don't start talking." The boy said a small smirk making its way onto his lips.
Olivia didn't know what to do. she barely knew him and after all her interactions with him and everything she's been told about him, she knew she didn't even want to be near him. She didn't wanna say what happened. "I-I don't feel like telling you. I don't even know you." She answered.
His mouth slightly dropped, while his eyes saw the sadness and sorrow in hers. He felt bad, he let his arm drop hers and nodded for her to leave. Olivia left the room, while Corbyn just stood there regretting everything he just did.
At the end of the school day, Olivia was placing her books back into her locker, ready to go home when Connor came up from behind her. He put his arm around her shoulder before speaking up. "So there's this party that my friend is hosting tonight, thought you might wanna come." The girl rolled her eyes before responding. "I'm not interested, but I'll see how i feel tonight." The two started walking, his arm staying around her shoulder. "Come on it won't be that bad." He spoke once again, drawing out the word 'bad'. The girl didn't respond making the boy sigh before speaking once again. "Think about it yeah?" He gave the girl a small paper with an address on it and walked away.
Olivia made her way outside and noticed Harvey just getting into the car. She ran over and managed to get to the car before he drove away. "I'm not walking home." she quickly spoke before the younger boy could say a word. Before Olivia could get into the car, she heard someone yelling - coming closer to her. "Listen bitch, stay away from my boyfriend." Olivia turned around only to see Samantha. Olivia's brows furrowed, confused as to what or who Samantha is talking about. "I'm sorry who and what?" Samantha rolled her eyes with a load sigh. "You're pathetic, anyways Corbyn is mine so stay away." She ordered, pointing at herself when she said 'mine'. Then she walked away. What is happening today? Olivia ignored it and started making her way into the car before remembering she forgot her maths homework in her locker.
She let out a load sigh. "What's wrong?" she heard her little brother question. "I forgot my homework. Can you wait here while I go get it?" she responded. "Yeah, just hurry up, I wanna go home." the younger boy, turned the car off, before letting out a sigh and closing his eyes. The girl made her way out of the car and ran back into the school, towards her locker. Once she made it she saw the last person she wanted to see. Corbyn Besson. Olivia walked right past him until he spoke up. "Olivia." She just stopped in her tracks not even turning around. "I just wanted to apologise, what I put on you was wrong, and it wasn't my place, I was just, I don't know I guess I just wanted to make sure you're ok. Just please understand that I didn't mean to bring up something you didn't want to remember." he apologised.
Olivia continued to walk before Corbyn spoke once again. "Do you forgive me?" he said, one of his hands rubbing the back of his neck. "Sure." Olivia answered before continuing to walk towards her locker. "Um,want me to walk you home?" he questioned but was cut short when Olivia responded with a quick no. Corbyn expected and accepted that answer and started walking to his car. He didn't really care if she agreed or not. When he got into the driver's seat, all his boys were there. "So dumbass, did you apologise?" The shortest brunette asked, receiving a nod from Corbyn. Jonah looked confused as to why the boy was angry, "Why are you mad?" Before Corbyn could respond Daniel cut in. "Because he really thought if he was nice to her and then used the bullshit excuse of "want me to drop you home" she'd sleep with him." he made quotation marks with his finger when saying the same excuse as Corbyn.
"I guess you can't pull any girl." Jack and Daniel started laughing, while Zach and Jonah weren't happy with where this conversation was headed. "Shut up, I can get any girl I want." Corbyn spat out. "Sure sure. You know I think Connor is gonna fuck her before you." Jack said before Daniel continued clearly trying to get a reaction from Corbyn. "Yeah, I saw the way he had his arm around her before. She looked like she enjoyed it." He said singing the ending. "Enough, both of you." Jonah intervened. The two younger boys started laughing before continuing. "Corbyn wanna make a bet?" Jack questioned. "What is it?" the older boy responded.
"Make her fall in love with you, fuck her, then leave her broken hearted." Jack said earning a hi-five from Daniel. "That's so easy come on." Corbyn responded. "Corbyn. don't." Jonah and Zach said at the same time. "You two don't actually feel bad for her do you?" Daniel laughed before directing his gaze back at Corbyn. "Just play her like every other girl at this school, you've done this a million times. Except this time you just need to pretend to show some sort of affection and not make her feel like a one night stand." Corbyn sighed, closing his eyes before nodding his head "Ok. Easy."
With the deal in place, Corbyn dropped all the boys individually at their houses and went back home. He went upstairs to his room, took a shower, got dressed and did his homework. The thought of what and how he had to play her didn't even cross his mind. Olivia on the other hand had just finished her homework and went to take a shower. She did chores and helped her step-mother make dinner for the family, today was different, as much as she hated what happened with Corbyn and Connor, she loved the fact that today she didn't even have a single misunderstanding or argument with her parents. She felt relieved during dinner. After dinner she washed the dishes and went back to her room to practice playing her guitar. After a while, she put the guitar back on its stand and went to her bed. She laid there until she soon drifted off to sleep.
