꧁THIRD PERSON POV꧂
Corbyn and Olivia were sleeping peacefully in bed. Olivia's arm was across Corbyns chest, as he lay on his back. Her head rested gently against his shoulder, her breath fanning his neck. The sun was beaming through the blinds causing the male to stir. He groaned when the first beam of sunlight hit his face. He reached his arm out to his nightstand, still oblivious to the extra weight that lay on him. Picking up his phone, looking at the time 'Ugh, It's only 6'. He placed the phone back before looking down at the girl that continued to sleep peacefully on his chest. The boy shuffled a little under her causing her to open her eyes, she rubbed her eyes whilst yawning. Then she realized what she was sleeping on. She shuffled back abruptly almost falling off the bed. "Sorry, I'm so sorry, I didn't mean t-" "It's fine". the boy cut her off with a whisper. She looked back at him awkwardly from how embarrassed she was.The boy slowly began to sit up. He put his hand on his head, catching Olivia's attention. His head was throbbing. 'Fuck' he laid back down his arm over his eyes. The girl blushed, cursing herself for finding the little things he did attractive. She made her way to his ensuite, the first aid kit they used last night still on the vanity. She looked inside it taking out two Ibuprofen pills and pouring some tap water into a clear glass she found near the sink. She walked back outside, placing the cup on the boy's nightstand she lightly tapped him. Lifting his arm slowly his oceanic green orbs met the girl's coffee-brown eyes. She lightly smiled before speaking quietly afraid to hurt the boy's head any further, her hands holding out the two pills and glass of water. "I think this will help with your head". His gaze fell from her eyes to her outstretched hands before returning to her eyes. Slowly yet painfully the boy sat up, leaning back against the headboard. He returned her soft smile and then took the pills from her hands, swallowing them down with some water.
"Thank you". Corbyn spoke properly for the first time that morning. The girl's eyes widened her face tinted as she looked away. The raspiness from his morning voice had caught the girl completely off-guard. The girl gave a slight nod in recognition before walking over to the bedside table that had her phone on top. Olivia checked the time seeing it was already too late for school, having already missed the first three periods. "I can give you a ride home if you'd like?" the boy's voice spoke once again. "It's ok, you rest, I'll just walk home". she responded. "It's Friday. We have school," Corbyn mentioned. "Let me get dressed and then" ... "Actually, here." The boy walked over to his closet pulled the first hoodie he saw out and threw it at the girl. "Wear this." The girl looked dumbfounded at him as he walked into the closet, closing the door behind him. "What about pants?" she questioned from the other side of the door. "Wear the same ones you wore yesterday no one's gonna notice." his voice almost muffled from behind the door.
"Corbyn come eat breakfast". A woman's voice was heard from downstairs. Corbyn's eyes widened forgetting that he had to get past his family to get the girl out. "How confident are you at jumping out of windows?" he asked the girl. Olivia turned around to look at him. "You want me to jump out the window? Are you crazy?" she questioned back. "Ok ok relax, it's not even that big of a drop," he said moving closer to the balcony window. "Trust me, I've done it multiple times," he says turning towards her as fear becomes present on her face. "Corbyn. Breakfast." The woman's voice drew closer to his door. "Yeah, one second let me get dressed." he lied whilst pulling the girl out to the balcony.
Scared was an understatement. Olivia was petrified of heights and this boy expects her to climb down a balcony. "Trust me, just climb this and then hang onto that and just drop," he said looking the girl in her eyes. "Ok" she responded hesitantly. Corbyn grabbed her waist and helped her onto the small ledge under. Once he couldn't keep hold of her any longer, he let go, watching her closely. She followed his instructions in getting down. Once her feet touched the ground she looked up with a thumbs up. Corbyn walked back inside before quickly remembering something and walking back looking at the girl. "I just wanted to say... I've never jumped off my balcony," he said before laughing and walking back inside heading downstairs.
Whilst waiting outside, Olivia was approached by a black car. The car stopped beside her, the windows rolled down. "Hey beautiful, need a ride?" Connor's voice came out. She would have waited for Corbyn but he was taking his time and school started soon so she accepted his offer.
The ride was quiet with the radio softly playing in the background. "So you going to the party tomorrow?" Connor asked, slightly turning his head towards the girl beside him. "No, I'm not a party person," she stated before turning back towards the window. "Oh come on. Please." he practically begged her. They fought back and forth until Olivia gave up and agreed to go. She messaged Jasmine asking if she was going, and immediately got a response saying yes. 'I guess it wouldn't hurt to go' she thought to herself.
Pretty soon the car came to a stop in the school car park. "Thanks for the ride," she says before opening the door. "We should hurry before we're late. Anyway, see you tomorrow." The boy responded. They both walked together to the doors, when entering the two immediately went their own way.
