꧁THIRD PERSON POV꧂
Jasmine looked over at her curiously. "You know him?" she asked surprised. "Yeah, He's so nice to me though?" she said somewhat doubting her own words. "Really? He's usually not nice to anyone... I don't know just promise me you'll be careful." she said hopeful. "I promise." Olivia replied with a smile. "Can I sit with you for second break?" Olivia asked. "Of course you can." Jasmine replied, as the two continued their walk to the cafeteria. Olivia expected to be dragged to a table consisting of Jasmine's friends, however to her surprise Jasmine got a slice of pizza for Olivia and herself before continuing to guide the other girl out of the cafeteria. "Do your friends not sit in there?" Olivia wondered. Jasmine glanced at the other girl letting out a laugh. "My friends, left me for popularity." she said putting quotations on the word friends. "I sit outside on the bleachers alone." she finished. Olivia looked stunned at the fact that someone like Jasmine sits alone but she wasn't complaining, she didn't like big groups. The girls made their way out of the doors, towards the bleachers.
Sitting at the top of the bleachers, the girls spent most of break getting to know each other better. Olivia felt a hand on her shoulder resulting in her slightly jumping, causing Jasmines attention to shoot back to the girl. "What the fuck?" Jasmine exclaimed. Olivia looked up seeing none other than Connor. "Get your hands off her." Jasmine continued her voice slightly raising. "Relax." He responded, his hand going down to the girls waist as he sat down next to her. Olivia felt uncomfortable but didn't say anything, although Jasmine could see it in her eyes. "Hey gorgeous, sorry I couldn't pick you up after class, teacher held me back." he let out quickly. The girl just looked at him, letting out a quick "It's ok" then turned back around. "Dude, get off her." Jasmine started in an agitated tone. The boy looked at her a smirk making its way on his face. "When she tells me to." he stated bluntly.
Jasmine looked at the other girl begging with her eyes to tell him to leave. "Can you please let go of me?" Olivia asked innocently. The boy glanced at down at Olivia, amusement in his eyes. "Nah, I like it right there." He teased, not removing his hands. The girl tried to move his hand with her own but his grip was firm. "Please stop." She urged. "Get off her." Jasmine yelled, but the boy just laughed it off. He was about to say something before a voice from behind cut him off. "Get off her." it was deep and intimidating. The three turned around and were met with an annoyed Jonah and one of his friends who was standing slightly behind, the same expression visible on his face. "Aww, and what are y'all gonna do?" he laughed.
The two boys took a step forward and Connor stood up, taking his hand off Olivia. "Leave." Jonah demanded. "No, I was here first." he said back annoyed. "What are we in 5th grade? Leave." Jonah said in a cold tone, it was evident on his face that he was irritated. "I said no." Connor started. He paused for a second before continuing. "Go back to Corbyn. Or is he too busy fucking Samantha, treating y'all like dirt? he chuckled at his words before he was silenced by Jonah throwing a punch. Connor spat out blood before he threw his fist at Jonah, hitting him straight in the eye. "Fuckin Bitch" Jonah growled before jumping onto Connor, throwing punch after punch. Connor managed to flip the two around, and started punching Jonah. The two girls backed away from the scene, enough not to get hit. Jonah's friend joined in throwing a couple punches at Connor before three other boys came in pulling them all apart.
