Marlena (Marlie) Loverich is your average small town girl. Her family lived in a small town in Virgina with her family. Marlie is a beautiful girl, she has long soft brown hair, deep brown eyes, freckles, and a perfect smile.

Marlie is a quiet girl, she didn't have many friends and often kept to herself, but for good reason. The Loverich family suffered the great loss of their daughter, Marlies sister, named Katherine.

Before Marlies sister passed, her and Katherine would sing together, write music, play guitar and piano together. Marlie was an incredibly talented girl, artistic as well. The loss of her sister made Marlie shy away from her dream of becoming a rockstar.

Marlie struggled to even play a note. She loved to write down lyrics, skateboard, and even draw sometimes as an escape. She still wouldn't play for anyone, not even her parents.

Mrs. and Mr. Loverich noticed the pain their daughter was dealing with after losing Katherine. They decided the family needed a change of pace, a fresh start. They decided that in the next coming months they would move across the U.S. to Los Angeles, California.

Marlies last few weeks in Virgina flew by, she wouldn't miss it very much. She was excited for her new life in the big city.

It was the Loverich family's last day in Virgina. Marlie sat in her empty bedroom staring at her whole childhood shoved into a little box.

"Marlena, it's time to go. Mind grabbing that last box for me?" Mrs. Loverich said to her daughter.

"Sure mom, be right down" She said grabbing the box and her favorite necklace.

Marlie and Katherine were gifted matching guitar pick necklaces for christmas the year Katherine passed away. Marlie still wore hers everyday.

As Marlie placed the last box of their belongings in the moving truck she looked back to the empty house one last time.

She sighed, got in the car with her parents, and off they went. Marlie put her earbuds in blasting music as she stared out the window.

After miles and miles of traveling the family finally arrived in Los Angeles, California.

As they drove to their soon to be house, Marlie enjoyed the beautiful view of the new city. She had never been to California, but she loved the city life. So much going on, way different from her previous home.

The Loverich family car pulled into the driveway of a beautiful three bedroom house, moving vans behind them. Marlies sister was her only sibling, meaning she was now an only child. The family planned on using the third bedroom for guests or storage if needed.

The house was a beautiful baby blue color with white trim. It has a gorgeous wrap around porch with a swing out front.

"So Marlena, what do you think!?" Mr. Loverich said looking back at his daughter.
