Marlie woke up late but actually excited for school today. She was tired from a long night of thinking. She crawled out of bed and put something on.
She put on a green crop top, baggy jeans, and jordan ones. She wore all her favorite jewelry and her necklace. She curled her hair and put on light makeup.
She ran downstairs and instantly heard honking from outside. "Bye mama, bye dad" Marlie said running out the door.
Reggie drove today and Bobby was already in the front seat. She smiled as she climbed into the van next to Alex as Luke climbed in behind her.
"Morning guys!" Marlie said brighting up the van? (room?)
"Morning Marlie" Reggie said matching her energy.
Marlie pulled her lipstick out of her backpack putting a layer on. Alex gave her the same look he did before. She put out the wand so he could take some.
Marlie showed him again how to put it on. Luke smiled at the wholesome moment.
"What?" Marlie said nudging at Luke.
Luke couldn't help but hold back his smile. Marlies kindness warmed his heart.
"Nothing nothing" He said laughing.
The van pulled into the school parking lot. The five teenagers getting out one by one. Luke and Bobby parting ways just as they did before.
"So, have you thought about the dance anymore?" Alex asked Marlie.
"I don't know, I mean I don't know who i'd go with, I don't have a dress, and I've never even been to a dance" Marlie rambled.
"You've never been to a dance?!" Alex shouted.
Marlie laughed at the boys reactions. Why was everyone so surprised.
"No, i've never been to a dance" Marlie said widening her eyes.
"Well, we could all go as a group. We really want you to watch us play Mar" Reggie butted it.
"Maybe" Marlie teased. The five teens all went about their school days, meeting up at lunch again.
Marlie walked into the crowded cafeteria to already see the four boys waiting for her.
She sat down next to Alex and Reggie, across from Luke and Bobby.
"Hi guys" Marlie smiled getting her lunch out.
"Hi Mar, so Luke was saying your mom wants to meet us?" Bobby asked.
"Oh yeah, she's kind of curious as to who i've been spending all this time with. If you guys don't mind we'd love to have you over" Marlie smiled at all of the boys.
