Pete POV
while I was heading back to the company after the shoot, I got a call from Kao saying that he safely reached Hat yai. We talked for a bit. I'm actually worried about him. I hope he'll take care of himself.
After few minutes as soon I entered the company a staff come to me and said that someone was waiting for me. "Who is it?" I asked.
"I don't know P', she said you know her, and I told her to go back, But she wouldn't. She have been waiting for you." Said the staff.
I know her? Who's she? I thought.
"Where is she ?" I asked.
"In the company cafeteria." She said.
"Okay." I said. Then went to the cafeteria.
As I went to the cafeteria, I saw a familiar figure which I wasn't expecting to see. she was sitting while drinking her iced coffee.
"Jenny?" I called, as I went to her.
Is that her? I thought.
She turned to me "Pete!" She said as she got up and gave me a hug. "Oh my god ! After so long. I missed you so much!"
"I missed you too!" I said, as I hug her back.
It's really after so long since we've meet. How long has it been? 10 years maybe? I can't believe.
"I can't believe you've become so handsome now in real life." She said as she broke the hug and cupped my face. "When I first saw you on TV, I couldn't believe it was you."
"I was always handsome." I said, she laughed. "By the way what's bring you to Thailand? And when did you come?" I asked.
"Last week, I came to see you." She said.
I know it's not true.
"Oh really? Cut the crap. Now tell me the truth." I said.
"Dad is sick, so I came to see him." She said.
"Oh, What happened to him?" I asked.
"He has brain tumor, and will have surgery soon." She continued "I told him that I'll bring him to USA with me, so we can see good doctor over there, But he doesn't want." She said worriedly.
"Don't worry, I hope he'll be okay. And also there're lot of good doctors in Thailand. I'm sure he'll be fine here." I said and she nodded.
"By the way, how do you know I work here?" I asked.
"Who wouldn't know that the superstar Pete vihokratana work here." She said annoyed.
"Since I don't have your number, I thought maybe I can find you here, that's why I'm here." She said.
"Oh right." I said, took out my phone from my pocket and give it to her. "I've been waiting for you like an hours already." She complained. While she was busy tapping on the phones.
"Sorry, I was at shoot, that's why." I said "How Long are you planning to stay here? I asked.
"I'll be staying here for a month. And once dad recover I'll go back." She said.
"I'll contact you later. Cause now I need to go back to the hospital. dad might be waiting for me." She said as she handed me the phone.
"Alright. Do you want me to drop you?" I asked.
"No it's okay, I'll take the bus." She said as she smiled.
"Okay." I smiled back.
As she was walking out of the cafeteria. I was waving at her goodbye, but she stopped and turned To me "Pete!" She called.
"Hm?" I said.
"I'm really happy to see you after so long." She said with big smile.
"Me too." I smiled back.
"I have a lot of things to tell you." She said excitedly.
"I'll be waiting." I smiled and waved her goodbye.
She then left.
Jenny is my childhood friend. We were at same school, until middle school. We were very close to each other. Unfortunately we didn't get in touch after she went to USA.
After her parents got divorced, her mom quickly take her to USA. It was so sudden. After that we lost contact for a years. And now we met again...
I'm really happy to see her.
