3rd person POV
Both of them eating were eating their food without saying anything. There was a complete silence, but it wasn't awkward.
Pete didn't bring whatever happened earlier back in the company nor Kao.
After their dinner Kao cleaned up the table while Pete helped him doing the dishes.
"Kao." Called Pete, Kao turned to look at Pete who was in the kitchen. "Hmm." He said.
"Want some drinks?" Pete asked as he show him the beers can that he took out from the fridge.
"We just had dinner." Kao said "But one bottle is okay I guess."
Pete then took two bottles of beers and went to the balcony, sitting in the hanging chair waiting for Kao to join him.
"The night breeze is quite cold so I brought a blanket." Said kao as he sat beside Pete.
Both of them slowly swinging on the hanging chair and enjoying the night view under the warmth of the blanket.
"Doesn't the sky look so pretty today with all these shining stars ?" Kao said as he looked up at the sky, showing him all the stars.
Instead of looking up at the stars, pete looked at Kao and said "yes, it does."
"I said the stars not me." Said kao as noticed Pete was looking at him instead of looking up in the sky.
"What, I'm looking at the star right now. You're my star." Said Pete as he smiled at him, Kao also smiled, then slowly put his head on Pete's shoulder.
"Kao." Pete called.
"Hmm." Kao answered.
"I decided." Pete said.
"Decided what?" Kao said as he looked at Pete.
"I won't be working as an actor anymore." Pete said.
"What do you mean Pete?" Kao asked confused. "Being an actor is your dream and you've finally achieved it. You came so far." Kao said.
"I know but-" suddenly Pete's phone rang. It was from his manager.
"Why is he calling so late." Said Pete, then answered the phone.
"Hello Phi." Said Pete.
"Hello Pete, I just called to tell you that don't let your husband, Kao to go out until the situation is settled. You know some crazy fans are really furious right now with the sudden news. He might get attacked again" He said.
"What do you mean?" Pete asked.
"Haven't you seen the video?" Said the manager.
"Which video Phi?" Said Pete.
"I'll send you, I just saw it on twitter right now." He said as he hung up and send the video to Pete.
Pete watched the videos, now he was furious as well, just how far they can go?? His fans, isn't fans are people who have each other's back, to support the person they love. Then why they can't see him with someone else?
Pete loved his fans and he still love them, but not toxic fans like this. Like he also has his private lives and they should respect it, shouldn't they ?
Now kao was worried about Pete, how he was going to react after watching the video. "Pete-" Kao couldn't finish his words when Pete cut him off saying "why you didn't tell me about it kao?"
"Its okay. Look I'm totally fine." Said kao to trying to tell him that he wasn't hurt anywhere.
"What do you mean you're fine Kao? They doing this to you and you're saying you're fine?" Pete asked.
"What can i say Pete, we can't change anything. Can we? They're just upset with the sudden news and maybe they can't accept the fact that we're together, cause they love you." Said Kao.
"Those aren't the people who truly love me Kao, or maybe they do but their love should have limits. They just can't attack you like that only because you're my husband, they have no rights to do that. " Said Pete.
Pete pulled Kao closer and hugged him, "I'm sorry." He said.
"Sorry for what Pete, you didn't do anything wrong." Said kao as he was slowly patting Pete's back.
"Because of me, you're going through this'll" pete said.
"Don't ever said that, it's not because of you." Kao broke the hug and looked into Pete eyes "I'm really happy to be with you Pete, i guess some people just need some time." He said, and assured Pete that he's okay.
