Kao POV
"Pete, let's go for a walk." I said as I closed my laptop and finished my assignment that Sandee has send me earlier. She said we need to do it now because it's important, and the teacher asked for it . Finally I finished it.
"Okay, but have you finished your work yet?"
He asked.
"Hm I'm finished." I said.
"Okay, I'll get ready then." He said and I nodded.
Since I was already ready I was waiting for him.
I heard the street market here at night is really nice. And when you come to Chiang Rai you must go there Also try the street food.
"I'm ready!" Said Pete as he come out.
He wore a black hoodie with black jeans with a bob hat. He looked handsome in black.
"Let's go!" I said as I get up.
"Wait, let me take my camera." He said as he went to take his camera. He's camera is always with him, since he like capture everything he finds beautiful.
We went out of our resort and Started to walking side by side. There wasn't much people on the road but it wasn't empty. The sky looked really beautiful. It's not really night yet the sun has just set, the sky color is full of orange and pink. It really looked pretty...
"Isn't the sky so pretty today?" He said as he took a picture.
"Hmm, it's beautiful." I said.
After walking few minutes. We reached the street market. Which was full of people lot of tourists, Some were enjoying their food. Some were watching people dancing and singing. The atmosphere was quite nice.
"Pete let's go there, I wanna try this." I said as I pointed the stools where they sells chicken feet.
"Okay" he said.
"Auntie give us 2 chicken feet please." I said, "okay." She said kindly.
While she was preparing them, she looked at Pete and said "Young man I think I have seen you somewhere. No wonder you look so familiar at first."
"Me?" Said Pete as he pointed at him.
"Yes, you. Where did I... " she was thinking hard to remember.
"You might seem him on tv auntie." I said. "is it ready?" I said as I pointed the chicken feet and tried to change the topic so she won't ask far.
"Ah yes yes, here" she said as she handed us the cup of chicken feet.
"Thank you." We said.
"Are you guys couples?" She asked.
Pete looked at me, why she's asking that?
"We're friends." I said.
"Friends? It doesn't look like." She said.
How can she know that we're not only friends?
"Here." Said Pete as he handed her the money. "Thank you" we said and left.
She was kinda weird.
Then we walked around the market and tried other foods. After a while once we were done. we were walking back to the resort.
"Pete... I have something to tell you." I said as we were walking.
"Hm, what is it ?" He asked.
"About my internship." I said. "I got accepted to TN company." I continue.
"And..."
"And, you have to move to another province right?" He said.
"Yeah... but how do you know?" I asked.
"Earlier when you charged your phone and went to shower I saw you got a text from them." He said.
"Maybe I'll have to ask in another company. Since it's quite far." I said. Cause I didn't wanted to move anywhere and also didn't wanted to leave Pete alone.
"It's such great opportunity to get into TN company, you shouldn't waste it. It's such big company in Thailand and in future you would have more possibilities to get into bigger companies. If you start from here." He said.
"Don't worry about me. It's only 3months, it'll go fast." He said. "If you miss me so much just call me whenever you want, I'll stop everything to go over" he smiled.
I hope it'll go fast, it'll be our first time staying away from each other that long after marriage.
