Pete POV
I quickly parked my car, then ran to the hospital. I was distraught, I was afraid something serious had happened to Kao. I rushed inside not caring about others. I saw some people were staring at me surprised.
But I must see Kao now.
I went to the receptionist and asked about Kao. The nurse in the counter were surprised to see me as well "He was in the ER, but he just moved to the ward. It's on the second floors sir." She said politely.
"Thank you." I said, then made my way to the second floor.
When I came to the second floor, I spotted Kao friends, waiting on a bench in the corridor.
I quickly went to them and wai'd.
They looked at me surprised. "You're sandee right, the one who picked up the phone earlier?" I said. She nodded.
"How is Kao now? Did he get hurt a lot?" I asked worried.
When Sandee was going to answered, a nurse came out of the room, as I was going to her, to ask about Kao, one of his friend already asked "Ma'me how is Kao now? Is he okay?" Ask the guy, he was quite tall. I guess he was Thada.
"He's fine, You don't need to worry. Luckily he didn't get hurt a lot, so nothing serious." She answered with a little smile.
I felt relief, thank god...
"Is any of you here are patient family members? Cause we need to complete some documents." She said.
"I will do it." I said as I approached her.
"May I know what's your relations with him?" She asked.
"I'm his husband." I answered.
I sensed Kao friends were probably shocked to hear that.
"Alright, please follow me." She said and I followed her.
3rd person POV
"Did you guys also heard just what I heard ?" Said June as he couldn't believe his ears, for what he had just heard.
"Yes." Both Sandee and June nodded.
"Why does this man look like that superstar Pete Vihokratana, or am i seeing things after getting drunk?" Said June. He thought maybe he's still drunk.
"You're not, cause we're seeing the same." Said Thada.
"how can Pete vihokratana be Kao's husband?" He said.
How is that possible?
Inside the room, Pete finished completing the documents, he had to show their wedding pictures to proof that they're really married, otherwise they were not taking it. Cause everyone knew that Pete Vihokratana was single, and marriage was far they wouldn't even think about it.
Once he finished, he went to the man, who was lying on the bed with a saline and bandage on the head. Pete took the tool beside the bed and sat beside kao, taking his soft and warm hands on his.
Kao slowly opened his eyes when he feel the touch, "Pete." He softly called as he looked at Pete.
"Kao, how do you feel?" Said Pete as he softly touched Kao face. "Do you want me call doctor?" He asked, and help Kao sit comfortably, then sat beside him.
"No... I'm okay." Said kao with a little smile.
Pete suddenly pulled Kao in a tight hug. Kao hugged him back and slowly said "I'm sorry, I made you worried... I just couldn't stand there watching my friend fight, so..." Kao couldn't finish his words as Pete cut him, and said "I know... you did it for your friend, but please don't do that next time. Look what happened to you now, you got hurt and made everyone worried..." he said, Kao nodded as response.
After a while they heard knock knock on the door. It was June, Sandee and Thada, they were impatient, they wanted to see their friend. Pete went to open the door then invited the three inside with a smile. They went to Kao and felt relieved to see Kao was fine.
"I'm sorry kao, it's because of me you got hurt. If wasn't me, you wouldn't be like this." Said Sandee as her tears were rolling down the cheeks.
"Stop blaming yourself, and am I dead or what? Why are you crying like this." Said Kao. Hoped Sandee will stop crying. He knew very well they were worried about him.
"By the way what happened to those guys? Did they disappear after?" Pete asked.
"They couldn't, I was on time to catch them and call the police." Answered Thada.
They have a lot of questions to ask to Kao. Asking for an explanation about his relationship with this guy so called "husband" But nobody asked, maybe when it's time Kao will them by himself.
