Kao POV
After an hour later we reached Chiang mai. We take taxi to go to the hospital directly.
When we arrived at hospital we went to 2nd floor where dad was.
"Pete, Kao you're here" said mom as she saw us and gave us a hug.
"Yes mom, how's dad now?" Asked Pete.
"He's okay now. Doctor said not to walk for now, Cause he has leg fracture. Doctor gave him painkillers so he fell asleep" Answered mom.
We both look at dad.
Pete went to him. And sit next to him in a tool near the bed.
He looked relieved.
"Mom did you had lunch?" i asked.
"No, I didn't. I don't want to eat anything" she answered.
"Mom you have to, if not how you're going to take care of Dad. I'm sure you didn't had anything from morning, it's almost evening. You guys stay here I'll go buy lunch for you" I said, and when I was leaving Pete stopped me and said "I'll come with you"
"You don't have to Pete. Stay here Accompanying mom"
He nodded. And then I left to buy lunch for them.
Pete POV
After kao left to buy lunch. Mom looked at me and slightly smiled.
"Why are you smiling Mom?" I asked.
"You're really lucky to have kao. He's such a good boy, always take care of others"
I know Mom. I'm lucky. I stayed silent and smiled.
"If you ever give him hard time, I'll kill you understand!"
I just can't believe what I heard. My mom ! My own mom ?! She said she'll kill me...
"What Mom? You'll kill your son!"
"Yes I will, Kao is also my son. I don't want to see him get hurt"
"Woahh Mom you love kao more than me..." I gave her annoyed look.
"You idiot, I love both of you" she said as she rolled her eyes.
I smiled. I know she love both of us.
After few minutes dad woke up.
"Dad stay lying down" I said cause he was trying to get sit. "How do you feel now dad?"
"I'm good, it's just a small injury I'm fine." He said as he smiled.
"Dad how did you even had the accident ? You should have look left and right before crossing the road" I said.
"I know I know. I'm not a kid Pete. And it wasn't my fault, it was the guy who was riding. He thought he was in racing or something, riding in such a speeds" He said.
"By the way where is my other son?" He asked as he was looking for Kao.
"Your other son went to buy lunch, he'll come soon"
But then after someone entered the room and it was Kao.
"Here he is" I said.
"Hello Dad, when did you woke up and how do you feel now?" Asked Kao as he came to dad.
"I just woke up and I'm fine. Don't worry." said dad as he smiled.
"It's so nice to see both of you, it's been a long time. I didn't see you" said dad.
I agree, we didn't visit them for a long time. We were both busy that we couldn't come.
"It's nice to see you too, and I'm sorry we were both busy that's why we couldn't come to visit you" said Kao, he looked sorry.
"It's okay. Don't have to say sorry Kao. I know you both are busy. And I know you guys working hard. By the way next time when you'll come stay little longer"
Said dad as he patted Kao shoulder.
"Don't worry dad we will. Ahh Dad I brought some fruits for you"
Said kao as he show him the fruits.
"Thanks." Said dad and smiled.
"Mom here is your lunch" said kao as he handed the lunch box to mom.
"What about you, did you guys had lunch?" She asked both me and Kao.
"No but we can have la..." she didn't let Kao finish his word and said "Go and have lunch, I'll stay here with your dad."
"Okay mom" I said and then we left for cafeteria.
