WELP, THIS SHALL BE THE LAST CHAPTER OF COS. IT WILL BE A VERY LONG ONE SO GRAB YOUR SOCKS AND POPCORN. READ CAREFULLY ALL THE WAY, ESPECIALLY FOR THE ENDING.

-INFIRMARY-

"Y/N..." Hermione whines, now furless, sitting on the bed. Y/N, who is sitting on the edge of the bed, is busy reading a book about a subject that isn't too fascinating to her.

"How long are you going to read that book on Norse Mythology? We still have to figure out the problem with the Heir, remember?"

Y/N waves it off whilst glueing his eyes to the pages. "Yeah, yeah. Harry's already looking into the diary."

Y/N scoots a bit closer to Hermione.
"...but check this out." Y/N says as he lifts the book closer to her face. "They say this creature named....Jorm....Jorem...Jormun..."

"Jormungandr." Hermione finishes for him as he nods in thanks.

"Yeah, that. It says that Jormungandr has grown SO large that it now encompasses the whole world and can even bite its own tail." He explains with excitement.

"You honestly believe that?" Hermione huffs with a roll of the eyes. "It's clearly an exaggeration. IF it was real."

Y/N simply shrugs as he brings his attention back on the book. "We're wizards, Hermione. A giant serpent isn't TOO hard to believe....Get it? Because of the Basilisk we are looki-"

"Yeah, but we're talking about GOD's and their lore, not witches and wizards." Hermione explains before chuckling. "What, are you also going to explore Greek and Egyptian as well?"

"Mother never allowed me to research Greek." Y/N says with a straight face.

"Really?" Hermione lets out in surprise. "How come?"

"Who knows? She just made me promise not to dive into that subject yet."

Hermione raises a suspicious eyebrow. "And you are telling me you have held up your end of the deal so far?"

"Yes." Y/N nods. "I can't disobey my mum, no matter how much my curiosity grows."

The two of them don't know how to continue the conversation after that, whilst Ron just sits on the other end of the table stuffing his face with food.

"Baldur..." Y/N whispers, grabbing Hermione's attention.

"Who?"

"Baldur. An Aesir... God...." Y/N whispers to himself as he continues his reading.

Dyslexia is a bitch. "Son of...Odin...and Freya. Killed by...the Ghost of...Sparta...and the young boy that would later be called Lo-"

"Y/N! Y/N!" Harry burst through the infirmary doors and waves the diary in front of Y/N's face.
"ItwasHagrid.Heopenedthechamberofsecretsfiftyyearsago!"

"Woah, woah, woah. Alright Harry. Calm down." Y/N urges his hyperactive friend. "Now repeat what you said.."

"Hagrid was the one that opened the chamber of Secrets." Harry repeats, causing Ron's jaw to slack, but for Y/N to simply face palm.

"Come on, Harry. Me and Hermione already explained this. Tom Riddle most likely set him up. There's no way Hagrid is the Heir. No way."
