-THE LIBRARY-

"Also, the flowers of the Shrivelfug grows INSIDE the fruit, both of which are purple in color. HOWEVER, due to its aggressive roots, the plant can still survive even in snow conditions. Got it?"

Cedric and Cho look absolutely gobsmacked as they stare across the table at Y/N, who just finished explaining to them about Shrivelfug plant that is found in Abyssinia.

Y/N finishes writing down the last of the notes before sliding the piece of parchment forward, which is filled with notes to help them with their upcoming test. He finally looks up at the two older students and raises his eyebrows.

"What? Is there something on my face besides my good looks?"

Cho instantly blushes as Cedric bellows out a deep laugh, which is quickly shushed by the librarian a few feet away. The Hufflepuff Seeker covers his mouth for a second before calming down.

"No, it's not that. It's just...I can't believe a fourth and fifth year are coming to a third year for help on subjects he hasn't even been taught yet." He says, still in shock over Y/N's willingness to help them.

"Hn." Y/N lets out as he leans forward with a smirk. "Well, when you manage to read like I do, you tend to pick up on a few things. Besides, Herbology is not apart of the hardships of this school."

"Hardships, eh?" Cedric asks with a mischievous smirk, examining the nail on his fingertip. "What, like Quidditch?"

Y/N groans whilst rolling his eyes, knowing exactly where this is going. "For the love of Merlin- Quidditch is not hard, it's just not ALL that."

"How would you know?" Diggory hisses, more annoyed then angry at Y/N's unwillingness to participate in the sport. "You've never tried it. You can't judge something if you haven't atleast experienced it once."

"I haven't tried guacamole." Y/N points out. "But I know it's disgusting."

Cedric thinks about that statement. "Well you've got a point there...but that's different. Think about it, Y/N. You're probably a natural. Gryffindor would probably take you without a tryout."

"That sounds like a handout, Cedric." Y/N replies begrudgingly. "The disadvantages of having "well-known parents."

As the two boys "bicker" over Quidditch, Cho takes the time to compare them whilst trying not to make it obvious she is staring.

While Cedric is more sunny, confident and open to others, Y/N is more cold, calculated and reserved, which the Ravenclaw girl can compare with the sun and the moon.

She always been infatuated with Cedric, ever since he stood up for her against a couple Slytherin her first year, but the moment she lays eyes on Y/N, there was a type of magnetism that took over. Maybe it was slightly due to the fact his mum was one of her idols, but Y/N himself was an enigma of sorts to her.

She quickly snaps out of her trance before she begins drooling on herself. "C-can we talk about something else?" She suggests, interrupting the two boys.

"Um....sure?" Y/N shrugs as Cedric leans back in his chair cooly. "Want to play truth or dare?"

Cedric immediately sits up in his chair, his attention peaked. "Sweet. I'm down."

Cho immediately turns red with mortification. "R-really? In here though?"

"What?" Y/N giggles as he rests his chin on his hand. "You plan on this game getting loud?"
