THIS IS YET ANOTHER LONG CHAPTER. WITH A DASH OF FLUFFINESS."How are you feeling Y/N?" Remus asks as he gestures Y/N to take a seat in front of his desk.
"Um, a bit confused?" He replies as he sits down slowly. "I really don't like it when I can't make something out."
"Aren't you afraid at all? Your Boggart gave off the feeling off...dark omens." Lupin internally shivers just remembering what he witnessed along with the class.
"Afraid? No..." Y/N says as he runs his hand through his hair. "Perplexed? Intrigued? Yeah."
"Eh..." Remus grunts as he shakes his head in amusement. "Just like your father, fearless even in the face of death."
"That's right." Y/N widens his eyes a bit. "You were in the same year as my parents. They told me a bit about you."
"Good things I hope." Remus laughs before getting a soft look in his eyes. "I was quite fond of them, you know. Your father was perhaps the most intimidate student in the whole school."
"Apple doesn't fall too far from the tree, I guess.." Y/N ponders inside his head.
"He was...rather cold towards a lot of people and seemed bitter a lot of the time." Remus reminisces. "But underneath that cold exterior, was a fair and just man."
Y/N can't help but smirk to himself, picking at his hand on his lap nervously. "I'm guessing you were just as surprised as everyone else when my parents got together."
"Oh, yes. MOST surprised." The both of them share a laugh as Remus folds his hands together on the desk. "Diana, along with Harry's mother, was one of the most generous women I have had the privilege of meeting." Remus pauses to laugh slightly.
"Though she had quite a potty mouth on her at times."
"And still does." Y/N adds as the former Marauder smiles sadly.
"Diana was one of my best friends, and Aidoneus when he wasn't lurking in the shadows." Remus smirks before continuing. "I owe a lot to them two, and I feel I now have an obligation to look out for their son."
Y/N can't help but smile to himself. Although he isn't a fan of being compared to his father and mother ALL the time, in this instance it felt genuine coming from Lupin. It felt good to hear his parents being complimented.
"Although there are a lot of similarities between you and your father." Remus says as he stands up from his chair and walks around the desk corner. "You have a distinct trait from your mother that I heard and saw right away."
"Really? And what's that?" Y/N asks as Remus sits on the front of the desk, putting a comforting hand on Y/N's shoulder.
"The will to learn more, Y/N." Remus smiles. "The will to learn more."
"That....actually makes a lot of sense." Y/N ponders to himself as he, and mostly everyone that knows him, knows he likes to soak up as much as he can.
Mostly to gain more power, but it's neither here nor there.
Speaking of that, with Remus being closer to Y/N, he can clearly see the scars across the professors face. Y/N also remembers seeing Lupin's Boggart turn into a moon after saving Harry from facing the Boggart-Dementor.
