_____________

-ONE WEEK AFTER WORLD CUP-

"Yeah, I enjoy the finer things in life..." Diana sighs to herself, leaning back in a chair with a cup of tea in her hand and her feet propped up on the Weasley's table. "...like running into fucking Death Eaters after 13 years."

Ron is on the other side of the table, gazing at Y/N's mother likes she's a prize he's eager to win at a state fair. Ginny looks on with disgust as she admired Mrs. Mavros as well, but not to the point of following her around her brother.

"Diana! The feet don't belong on the table!" Molly berates loudly as she waddles into the kitchen. "As a mother, you should know better."

"Sorry, Mrs.Weasley." Diana turns slightly red as she puts her feet back on the floor. "I'm just still thinking about that damn World Cup incident. I mean.." Her face crests into one of worry. "I haven't seen that symbol in the sky nor that song for...."

Diana begins to remember the song death eaters, most of the time, sprang forth when their forces were near or ready to attack and spread fear throughout.

When people hear the song, it's best to run for your damn life if you're not absolutely ready to fight for it.

(RED WEDDING ANYONE?)

"🎼And who are you, the dark lord said, that I must bow so low? Only a creature of a different coat, that's all the truth I know."

Diana starts to get a headache from the mere memory of the ominous musical number, the drums and violins practically cutting her eardrums.

🎼 In a coat of green or a coat of black, a serpent still has fangs, and mine are long and sharp, my lord, as long and sharp as yours.

During the time of the war, she heard that song so many times that it almost drove her out of her mind, she even found herself humming it at times. Only by the comfort of Aidoneus and Lily did she overcome any hardships from it.

🎼 And so HE spoke, and so HE spoke, that death is near, but now the rains weep o'er his hall, with no one there to hear.

She is just glad her baby boy wasn't there to witness the atrocities that Voldemort's forces unleashed a week ago. Diana is so visibly worried that even Ron, Ginny and Molly can see her distress.

"Do you need anything, Mrs. Mavros?!" Ron exclaims excitedly as he stands up from his chair. "Water? Food? A hug?"

"Sit down, you bloody idiot!" Ginny screams as she drags him away. "You'll just make things worse. Just sit down with Harry and Hermione and bugger off."

"Mrs. Mavros has been on edge since the Cup.." Harry points out quietly as he sits next to Hermione on the couch, both of them looking at her with worry as she thanks Mrs. Weasley for a cup of water.
