Erin woke up early before work and the first thing she had to do was run to the bathroom. She was sick. She was 15 weeks pregnant and occasionally had morning sickness, but it wasn't anything too bad. Jay head her in the bathroom, so he got up to check on her.
      "Are you okay?"
"Yes, I'm fine. I have a feeling your kid is going to give us a run for our money," she said laughing as she cleaned herself up.
"Yeah yeah," he replied giving her a good morning kiss. "Let's go. We are going to be late."
As they walked into the district, Platt nicely greeted Erin as she always did. She just looked at Jay as he walked in behind his wife.
"Why is she always so friendly to you?"
"Because I'm special, that's why!" She said as she buzzed in.
"You guys are late. We are heading out. Let's go," Voight said to them sternly.
Halstead and Lindsay looked at each other like they had just got yelled at by the school principal. They rode together following the rest of the unit.
Suddenly, Erin dramatically looked over at Jay who was in the passenger seat. She never let him drive.
"Babe, what's wrong? Are you okay?"
"I think the baby just kicked," she said nervously as she quickly pulled over to enjoy the moment. "Here...feel."
Jay reached over and put his hand on her stomach.
"Oh my gosh, that's our baby," He said as his eyes started to make tears. "How amazing."
Erin said, "This is all happening so fast. Remember we have our appointment next week to find out the gender."
"I remember. I can't wait," he told his beautiful, expectant wife.
They leaned over to kiss each other. Out of the corner of her eye, Erin suddenly saw headlights racing toward them.
      "Jay!" She screamed.
