During the interviews the team directed the day before, they established that the young Timothy Masters seemed to be a kid who was in the wrong place at the wrong time. He didn't have any connection with any of the suspects. They think he probably saw something he shouldn't have.
The unit was dragging tired at the district the next morning because of the late night they had.
"Wake up, guys, we have a lead," Hank yelled. "Mouse was able to narrow our suspects down by looking at video footage of street cameras around the time and location of the murder. We finally got a match on the license plate. Our main suspect's name is Ryan Murphy. He is a local gang member who is working to get revenge on cops and our city," Hank told the unit.
"Revenge? That seems random. I mean we haven't even heard of him," Kevin said.
"It seems as though his younger brother was shot and killed by a Chicago police officer exactly one year ago. My gut is telling me they are working on something that can kill multiple cops at the same time, making a big statement. That's what we need to find out. We need to hurry before it's too late. Let's go catch this piece of crap," Hank told the team.
They all nervously looked around at each other as they grabbed their things and headed out the door.
