"Good morning. Happy Anniversary, babe," Jay said, leaning over in bed to kiss Erin.
"Happy Anniversary. I can't believe we've already been married for a year," Erin said.
"It's been almost as amazing as you," said Jay.
Erin got out of bed to get ready for work. "Can we just talk about how sexy you look in that white tank?" Jay said as he blushed.
"I try," Erin laughed.
They both got ready to head to the district, grabbing coffee and a quick breakfast for the road. Hank had already texted them about a case.
"The nephew of our commander has been mixed up with a group of drug dealers who have been handing out a deadly drug to teenagers in our city, so we are going to keep this in-house. The drug is called Possession and we need to get it off the streets," Hank told the unit. "Let's gear up."
Atwater busted through the front door of what looked to be an abandoned house.
"Chicago PD!" They all yelled in unison.
They all made their way into the house, clearing each room as the go. Once downstairs, they found the entire stash. As Jay turned a corner, the ring leader aimed a rifle at his back.
"Pow pow," Erin's shots rang out.
"Thanks for having my back," Jay said.
"Always," Erin replied smiling.
