"Sultanim, you are requested in the harem for the welcoming of Dilruba Sultan," A maid said. I nodded and signaled her to leave the room. I handed Suleiman to Malike to put him to bed after I finished feeding him.
"Malike stay here with the children" I ordered before leaving my room and walking down the harem. I walked over to the Valide Sultan and bowed to her, she smiled at me when she saw me, she loved me for not causing any problems and always following her rules and I'm probably her favorite for bringing her grandsons.
"Come join us Neslihan, take your place beside Yenisah" She ordered. I nodded and walked over to Yenisah Sultan, my gaze moved to Hatice who glared at me for standing in front of her in line, she moved and I took her place beside Yenisah Sultan.
"MAKE WAY, DILRUBA SULTAN HAS ARRIVED" A harem agha announced. Neslihan along with everyone except the Valide bowed to the new Sultana that has just arrived. Neslihan stood back tall and watched as Dilruba walked over to the Valide and bowed to her with a slight grimace.
"Valide" Dilruba said with a snobbish voice. She looked the Valide up and down eyeing her expensive clothes and jewelry with almost envy.
"Welcome Dilruba, I'm glad to see you back in the castle," The Valide said almost like the words were being forced out of her mouth. Dilruba nodded and moved on to her daughter and the eldest daughter of the empire.

They embraced each other on the verge of crying. Neslihan turned to Yenisah who smiled slightly at her, she was happy her sister reunited with her mother despite their differences. Dilruba pulled away from her daughter and continued on to Warda Sultan.
"Welcome back Sultana, I'm glad you're back, now Esmehan can get off my back and you could fill her time," Warda said making Dilruba Sultan chuckle a little before moving on to Yenisah Sultan.
"Welcome back, Sultana" Yenisah said, simple yet powerful and Sultana like. Dilruba moved on to Neslihan who bowed to her and smiled softly at her. Dilruba looked Neslihan up and down seeming fascinated by her unusual hair.
"It's nice to meet you, Sultana, I am delighted to make your acquaintance," Neslihan said smiling at Dilruba.
"Ah, You must be the new favorite, Neslihan Sultan" Dilruba nodded her head. Neslihan smiled and gave her a nod of confirmation. Dilruba then moved on to Hatice Sultan.
"Hatice, it's been a while, I hope you have some good news for us," She said placing her hand on Hatice's stomach. I frowned and turned to look at Yenisah who gave me a look to stay calm and ignore her.
"I hope so, you know it's about time I bring Nuricihan a full-brother" Hatice said smirking before turning her gaze at me, I gave her a smile to show her I was unbothered besides I know that she won't if she kept taking the medicine.
"May Allah presents you with a healthy son," Dilruba said patting Hatice's hands. Now I know on whose side she's on. She pulled away and turned to Diana Kalfa who was standing beside the Valide.
"Is the bath ready? I am tired and want to relax" She said giving out an innocent smile.
"It is, comes this way Sultana" Diana Kalfa led her out of the harem towards the bathroom. I bowed to the Valide and was about to walk away but was stopped by the Valide Sultan called my name.
"Neslihan, I'm coming with you I wish to see my grandsons," She said and walked over to me as I bowed to her again. I smirked at hatice who scoffed at me.
"Of course Valide, you are always welcome to come and see them," I said as she led the way to my room.
I stood on the step in my room as the Valide walked over to the children in Malike and Daphne's laps on the couch. I couldn't get Dilruba Sultan out of my head, what if she knew that the medicine was a fake one that does exactly the opposite of what she wants.

"Ignore what Dliruba said" I was snapped back to reality and turned to the Valide who was sitting on the couch with Suleiman in her arms.
"She has always been like this, a snake, and everything that leaves her mouth is venom," She said with disgust. The jealousy and anger were obvious in her tone, I understand why she hated Dliruba like I hate Hatice and Leyla.
"I do not know her so I cannot judge but if your magnificence says so then I shall take your word for it, besides my only concern is my children," I said walking over to her and sitting down beside her. She nodded her head with a grin on her face. We turned as the doors were pushed open and a harem agha walked into the room bowing to the both of us.
"Sultanas, his majesty is asking for Neslihan Sultan," He said. The Valide stood up and handed Suleiman to Daphne before giving me a smile and leaving the room.
"Take care of them" I ordered before leaving the room with the maids at the door behind me since I always have to have maids with me and Daphne and Malike were the maids of my children. I trusted the maids at the door too, not as much as Daphne and Melike but close enough, they were called Alya and Hundi. I walked down the harem and to the golden road not noticing Dilruba sultan standing with her maid, Fatma, watching me pass by.
"His majesty is waiting for you" The guard at the door said when I reached him. I walked into Mahmoud's room and bowed to him.

"Come over love," Mahmoud said pushing his chair back and opened his arms for me. I walked over and sat on his lap, he wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me closer kissing my shoulder.

"I heard you met my step-mother, Dilruba Sultan," He said turning his full attention to me pulling me closer to him.
"She was a delight, wishing Hatice Sultan sons," I said rolling my eyes and looking out of the window.
"I'm shocked actually, Esmehan has always been on Leyla's side so I'm shocked Dilruba Sultan is on Hatice side," He said. He moved his hand to under my chin and moved my head to look back at him.
"Don't be sad, my love" He whispered pulling my face closer locking our lips together making me forget all of my problems, and kiss him back with a wide smile on my face.
