"Sultanim, the valide sultan is asking for you in her chambers," Daphne said. I raised my eyebrow at her but she only shrugged not having a reason as to why. I stood up with the baby that was already in my arms since I was feeding him moments ago.

"Briny Ahmed and Suleiman, they probably missed their grandmother" I ordered. Daphne bowed before walking into the smaller room attached to my room where my children and the maids in charge of them slept.

I walked out of my room and down to the harem stopping at the door and watched as they stood up and bowed to me, they were peaking trying to see the newborn baby, I haven't left my chambers since I gave birth two weeks ago not wanting the baby to catch any viruses or get sick.

I walked into the Valide's room and bowed to her, she was sat on her throne with Yenisah on her right and Warda on her left while Dilruba Sultan sat on her own throne but much smaller than the Valide's with her daughter sat beside her. Leyla and Hatice were sat on pillows in front of Dilruba and her daughter.

"Welcome Neslihan, Darvis bring a throne for Neslihan Sultan" the Valide ordered. Leyla and Hatice were moved a bit to the side so I was sat closer to the bigger throne with Yenisah on my left and Hatice on my right.

"I hope everything is alright Valide," I said starting the conversation. She turned to me with a smile on her face and nodded.

"Don't worry, we received an answer from his majesty with the name now cover your head because if the name is in there we will bring in a sheikha to name him" I nodded smiling, and let one of the maids that came with me cover my head and turned to Darvis who pulled the letter out of the Golden holder.

"Dear Valide

I am delighted to hear the news of the birth of my new son, it bought me great joy and happiness during those hard times we've been facing during the campaign.

Forty-five canons salutes were fired at the news causing our enemies fear and the same day they came crawling over handing over their keys making Syria our own and ending the war.

I decided to name my son Mustafa, after my late brother and companion. May that name be a blessing for my son. "

"Darvis let in the Sheikah" the Valida ordered. I watched as an old woman walked in and half bowed to us. I stood up and walked over to her and handed her my sleeping baby.

"May Allah protect him and give him a long life" she said as she held him close to her. Chores of amens filled the room before she started the naming of my baby.

"Your name will be Mustafa"

"Your name will be Mustafa"

"Your name will be Mustafa"

She handed him back to me before we prayed for him and she left. I sat back down on my throne holding Mustafa close feeling my heart fill with pride. The doors opened and Daphne walked in with Suleiman on her hip and Ahmed waddling in still not used to using his legs.

As the time passed I dedicated myself and time to my children only. I waited and waited for love to come back and the extra three months he stayed away it felt like an eternity. Hatice and Leyla, of course, were searching for even more medicines to help them get pregnant when Mahmoud comes back but Diana Kalfa has been behind their backs changing the medicines and keeping our agreement at bay in return for a couple of gold-filled bags.

"We finally see that beautiful smile of yours, sultanim," Daphne said helping me put on my headscarf. I smiled at her through the mirror before turning around to face her.

"Of course, my sultan is back, how could I not be?" She giggled and followed me out of the room with Ahmed in her arms while Zeynep, a new maid I recruited, followed with Suleiman and I held my darling, Mustafa.
