Chapter 7

OCEAN POV

I woke up with a raging headache as I looked around me for my phone.

For a second I forgot what had happened last night and I didn't even see Calvin next to me.

I can't believe I allowed this to happen.

I checked my phone to see if kalen had texted me back but still nothing and I don't blame him.

I got up grabbing my stuff as I left the house and called my bestfriend to come pick me up since she was in town.

KALEN POV

I don't even know what I was doing right now.

It was my birthday and I wasn't even with the one person I wanted to be with. Key word wanted. I'm a changed nigga now I'm not letting anybody walk over me and that's exactly what Ocean was doing.

"Ight get up" I said to this girl that was ducking my dick.

I didn't even like her for real I was just trying to get my mind off of ocean.

I took a pull from my blunt as my uncle walked in.

"Happy birthday nephew, you having a party?" He asked causing me to sit up.

"Nah but you know what , I should throw one that don't even sound like a bad idea" I said as  I went on my Instagram and spread the word hoping ocean would see it.

OCEAN POV

"Hey girl thanks for getting me , I missed you sooo much" I said getting in my bestfriend Kayla's car.

"I missed you too miss girl it's been so long" she said smiling.

"Yes it really has boy do I have tea for you" I said getting on Instagram as I saw a post from Kalen saying he was having a party today.

Fuck I forgot it was his birthday.

"You know what I'm glad you came today cause I got somewhere for us to go today" I said sticking my tongue out.

"Bettt , let's get some food so you can catch me up" she said as we pulled up to IHOP.

"Soooo what's tea" she said as I drank from my orange juice

"Girlll first of all I just came from Calvins house like I'm a mess" I said holding my head.

"Come on Ocean I thought you would've been over that toxic ass nigga" she said shaking her head

"I know and trust me I was for a while cause I had me a new nigga but I really just fucked it up. I have some real issue Kay I need help" I said coming to realization.

"Hey you know they got bestfriends for that aka therapist" she said laughing as I drifted off into thought about how bad I fucked up.

KALEN POV

I set up the house since my parents were on a business trip for a few days.

It was going to be a pool party so the patio door was open.

There was drink everywhere , weed , led lights , and all that.

This would be my first party for real.

"Ok ok it looks good in here" Mia said coming into the kitchen.

"Yeah I know" I said smiling

"It's good to see you smile but aye I got a question"

"What's up" I said eating some little bites.

"Be honest with me , you in the gang with uncle Cory?" She asked causing me to chew slowly.
