CHAPTER 27

KALEN POV

"Ocean" I said knocking on her door.

It creaked open as I went in and saw a note on the bed.

"I went to go get some stuff for Amoré be back later" the note read as I put it down and walked out the room going to amores crib,

"Hey gorgeous" I said kissing her on her forehead.

"Naomi where you at" I yelled.

"Downstairs" she yelled back as I carefully grabbed Amoré and brought her down the steps.

"What you fixing?" I asked walking into the kitchen.

"Some jerk chicken and greens, hows ocean?" She asked as I sat Amoré down,

"She went to the store apparently" I said coming behind Naomi and kissing her as she smiled.

"Stop lemme finish cooking" she said as I sighed and sat back down.

OCEAN POV

I grabbed a cart walking around Walmart as I put some duck tape and rope in my basket, along with some baby formula. I went to go get a sprite and that's where I saw him.

"Ocean hi, how are you?" He asked as he walked around with a girl behind him.

"I'm fine Calvin, thanks" I smiled.

"No problem heard you're a mama now how's that going?" He asked making me grit my teeth.

"It's going great you know, it's a lot of work but it's fun and I wouldn't change it for the world" I fake smiled,

"Ahem" the girl said from behind him.

"Looks like someone has a cold so imma leave , bye nice seeing you" I said going to the front to pay.

I put my stuff on the conveyer belt getting my card out.

"You building something miss?" She said handing up the rope.

"Something like that, it's for my baby daddy" I said.

"Oh alright, your total is 20.12" she said as I swiped my card and she handed me my receipt

I grabbed my bag walking out of the store as I put my stuff in the car and smiled to myself driving back to Kalens house.

NAOMI POV

I heard the door open as I went to it and saw ocean walking in with some bags.

"Hey" I said.

"Hii" she said all happy.

"Why you so happy" I laughed a little.

"Just enjoying life" she said as I sat down on the couch.

"I got some baby formula" she said taking it out of the bag and putting it on the counter.

"Thanks" I said smiling.

"No problem" she said walking past me as she went in her room and started gathering her stuff,

She came back out a few minutes later and sat on the couch with her bags in her hand,

"Well I'm about to head out and I see Kalens not here so tell him I said bye and thank you" she said as I smiled at her.

"Bye mommy baby" she said kissing Amoré as a tear shed

I couldn't lie and say I didn't feel super bad for her.

She walked out the house and I turned on jumanji rocking Amoré back and forth.

About 10 minutes into the movie someone knocked on the door making me set a sleeping Amoré down.

"Hi- oh ocean , are you ok?" I asked as she came in.

"Yeah I'm good, my car wouldn't start so would you mind if I call someone ? It's pouring down outside" she said as I sat down.

"Yeah no problem" she said getting out her phone and calling a car business.

All of a sudden Ocean went in her bag and grabbed a candy bar and it lowkey scared me cause I thought it was a knife.

I laughed to myself and shook the thought out of my hands.

Then she actually pulled out a knife making me look at her.

"Woah what ya doing with tht" I said standing up grabbing Amari and amore.

"Bitch you took everything for me , I'm going to fucking kill you" she said coming closer to me with the knife.

"Please just take me not the kids" I said crying and pleading with her.

She went and grabbed some rope out of her bag and tied us up as she sat Amoré and Amari on the couch.

"Don't fucking move" she said to amari as she began crying.

I just sat there crying because I had duct tape on my mouth.

"You're going to sit here and when Kalen gets back he's going to get to see this" she said walking into the kitchen and hiding.

20 minutes later....

"Yo I'm home- Naomi what's going on?" He said seeing me tied up.

Amari stayed seated because she was obviously scared.

He walked up to me and began taking the duct tape off of my mouth and untying me.

"You have to get out of here Kalen she's gonna kill you" he said still untying me.

"Who's gonna kill me? What are you talking about" he said.

KALEN POV

"Naomi calm down" I said as I went down to her feet to untie the last few knots.

I felt a sharp pain in my neck as I felt behind there and looked at my hands seeing blood and I turned around.

"What the fuck" I said standing up walking towards her as blood gushed out of my neck.

"You hurt me Kalen... all I wanted was to be loved and to be a happy family but you hurt me" she said laughing and crying at the same time.

"Ocean youre craz-" I said collapsing to the floor and the last thing I heard was a few cries.

NAOMI POV

"KALEN WAKE UP" I said screaming.

"WHAT DID YOU DOOO" I started to cry.

"It's your fault bitch" she said as I applied pressure to Kalen. He coughed up some blood looking into my eyes.

"I love you" he said before his eyes closed.

I saw red and blue lights coming from the curtain as she police came in and tackled ocean to the ground,

Everything was moving in slow motion as I cried on Kalens chest.

"Kalenn" I said crying kissing him.

"Ma'am get up" the officer said as he pryed me from his body as my knees buckled.

How could this happen....
